    Looks like Skip did a post and run...

    We had a nice dinner with friends at Geraldine's last night. Fancy on a Tuesday like a couple of Rockefellers or something.

    Very bored with nothing to do on this staycation thing. I don't know how people do it.

    DBIL and family leave soon.

    Off to brewery to meet some friends later (hopefully in Vette).

    Still SMH by yesterday's post vis a vis - SGM's walk w/ Sadie!

    Man MFP is making it really hard to log in today. I had to come in a back way.

    FINALLY found fresh flour tortillas. They are thinner than I like but so happy to not have corn only.

    And I'm wearing shorts again fir the first time in 5 days.

    Good morning (barely) BBB friends.

    I too had to find a back way in.

    Getting ready to leave for the VA to resolve an issue with one of my hearing aids.

    It will be months before we are comfortable in shorts around here. Yesterday was a bug storm, today it is much cooler. So, it goes.

    Coffee maker died this morning. We had a little spare (4 cup capacity) to ease the caffeine addiction, but I need to find a full-sized replacement as soon as possible. I'll stay away from Mr. Coffee. They're cheap, but we have disliked that thing for years and it refused to give up the ghost for 9 years. Now I can get something better.

    • Been trying to get in all day. Finally found that back door.
    • Had a visit with my dental hygienist this morning. All good.
    • Happiness is a new coffee maker, if you choose wisely.

    Glad to hear I'm not the only one being locked out
    DMIL is back to being as irritating as before, if not more so
    Have not heard from DSonIL about keeping DGS
    Consumer Reports found $100 Cuisinart coffee maker was excellent, we have been using one for several years and coffee so much better than Mr. Coffee and Black and Decker.
    Will check in tomorrow if allowed
