    mornin'

Visited DD, DSIL and their wee ones yesterday for a few hours. And their overgrown dog who wanted nothing but to sit on my lap. Little Mae (18 mos) also climbed up on my lap for awhile, making it a memorable visit. DD seems all better from her COVID, although can't taste or smell yet. I need to get to a few other homes before the week is out.

    Beginner piano today.

Bill must be recovering--he's worrying about kale in the fridge.

    Mornin' gents!

Whew. I snuck into this group chat through a back door. I could not access via the normal community link and "my groups". So I clicked on notifications and got in via a link to a new post to this group chat.
Bill does sound like he is feeling better.
So glad Sassy was able give Rita some solace. She is such a good girl. I can't imagine Rita's grief and sense of separation from her family.
Trying to get into optometrist today.

    Be OP ;-)

    Good morning gentlemen.

Yeah, Lee, this is the second day I have been locked out of "My Groups" and had to find a backdoor.

Sassy is a sweet dog, to be sure, and a great comfort.

DS asked me to meet him for lunch, today. Always nice to do, but I'll have to be careful on my order. O stepped on the scale yesterday and found I was at 190. I have put on 5 lbs. in the last two weeks. Too many Christmas cookies.

    Good Morning

I have had that access problem at times. I generally go in through a direct link to the group though.

Prayers will continue for dear Rita. I can't imagine how hard it is for at this time to be apart from family. Give Sassy a treat for me.

I am feeling better and if I can avoid the Antiviral rebound I should continue to recover. Taste is still compromised on some foods and mentally I still lack sharpness at times like when I read or try and concentrate too long. Congestion is still hanging on. I tweaked my knee somehow yesterday. Usually I am well aware since it involves me suddenly hopping around on the other leg making odd noises, but it just generally got stiffer and sorer. Hard to walk on and I took Tramadol to sleep and Norco this morning to try and make walking more doable. I am using an old walking stick to try and get around but not very well. It is what you do when Covid isn't enough. So I will stay put. Hopefully once the batteries recharge for the TENS, ice and tens will calm it down. Ice alone didn't do squat. Christmas is now pushed back to 1/1.

Couldn't get in yesterday, today no problem
Need 11' more of base mold to complete baseboards in lodge and once someone paints quarter round I'll install it.
Glad Rita got to see funeral, pets can be so compassionate and know more than humans.
Sunny mid 60's today, planning a ride tomorrow
Now they will deliver DGS sometime tomorrow, I know they are planning on going to Chick-fli-la bowel and have New Year's lunch with us Sunday.
Rain coming in tomorrow night and most of day Saturday
Lee, how much longer do you intend to work? Congrats to DW on birthday and retirement!
