    Happy New Year BBB

Packing up for deer hunting trip. Taking girls with me and staying at an AirBnB. Might get a day or two of bird hunting for the girls.
Hope everyone had a nice and safe New Year's Eve and New Year morn.
Was looking for a good quote for the new year, and the above reminded me of all the community service Sam performs and that I should do more.

    Morning BBB

Happy 2023. We probably should have walked to the water and watched the fireworks but 12 is way past Ron’s bedtime. Our host had a party in his (our joint) backyard but they weren’t too loud.

Todays goal…change all my passwords. My password manager got hacked a few weeks ago and I already changed the most important ones but now onto the zillion others. I see from notifications that Ron has already been doing his.

Enjoyed some really great football games yesterday go Frogs!

Dennis is a Dog v Frog playoff next week. Should be fun to watch.

    Happy New Year,
GA barely pulled out a win 3 seconds into new year.
Pecan pie is out of oven and sweet potatoes cooking for casserole
Will strip collards, skin hog jowl
DD and DsonIL invited themselves for New Year's lunch. Usually, we have about 15 or 16 for New Year's lunch, just did not want to put forth the effort. They will get DGS and maybe we will get a little rest before routine starts back tomorrow.
Pray all have a healthy and blessed 2023!

Good morning and Happy New Year, folks!

Cecilia got progressively worse through the day and we ended up getting pizza from the place across the street. Rang in the new year watching several episodes of a National Geographic show (Wizard of Paws) about a guy who builds prosthetic limbs and carts for animals. Missed the ball drop because I was watching the OSU kicker miss the game winning field goal try. Poor kid.

Not what we'd planned, but kinda perfect.

Today, I'd imagine I'll wander out to pick up groceries for the week and find some knock-out drugs for her. That last one might be hard because the good stuff is usually at the pharmacy and most are going to be closed.

Friends are doing a NY open house today, so I'll probably end up going stag at Cecilia's insistence. She didn't really want to go anyway because new people is never something she likes.

    Happy New Year!

2023 is going to bring us grandparent roles x 2. January and July. Can't Wait!

Wow, what a huge loss for Ohio State. Kicker missed only 2 all season. Then this 3rd one. Congratulations to GA!

I've got nothing on tap today. Just going to read and relax. Maybe watch some football in the background.

    Hope Cecilia feels better soon.

Sam your lunch feast sounds very traditional, enjoy!

    Happy hunting Lee!

    Be well BBB

    Good morning BBB friends.

I had a nice day watching football, yesterday. With no personal connection to any of the teams, I rooted for my BBB friends and won twice!

Sorry Cecilia is under the weather.

Church this morning. We're eating out with DS and family this evening, then bringing the grandkids home for the night. We will hang with the kids through the day tomorrow, then turn them back to their parents to get ready for the restart of school on Tuesday.

    Happy New Year BBB Friends.
    • NYE party at our community clubhouse last night. A big 85" TV but they didn't have ESPN to watch the UGA game. I streamed it on my phone and cast it to the TV. Worked pretty well.
    • Some great football yesterday. I'm happy with the results. Dawgs vs Frawgs next week.
    • I started the day working the TV cameras at church. This afternoon was end of year accounting while watching the Falcons squeak out a win.
    • Get well Cecilia.

    Happy New Year.

I tried to get on for 2 days this week a
    No unable to do so.

I bed before midnight. Took all the Christmas decor down yesterday.

The in-laws are refusing assisted living. It’s a kitten show. The saga continues.

    Feel better, Celia!

Dennis - LOVE you were able to pull that off!

We had to do this, this past season for a Nascar race on one of the networks the sports bar didn't have. It worked well streaming from phone to their TV!

Don't have kids - but after this *kitten show* - would not want to burden them with MY care. There is a reason there are assisted living facilities. Spend the inheritance you planned to give - and use it!

No inheritance here. It’s just crazy. The only time we’re involved is when they say, “think we should call gary?” At that point it’s all downhill and he’s the cleanup. If that makes any sense.
