What a *kitten* day!
A FL establishment called me to ask if I could design/build/launch a course by next Monday! Holy cow. Short answer: Yes. But crap thats alot of work with no notice.
Lots of staging yesterday and purchase of the dreaded blue tape roll in preparation for painter to roll through and begin some tough ups in a couple weeks. Back sore today. Stager here tomorrow to give us some more instructions. Ugh.
Still cannot believe Hamlin. Oi Vay!

Hope Celia is back to health and the universe has balanced itself with the procurement/delivery of new coffee maker.....

Good morning.
Cecilia is still under the weather, but was a trooper on chasing off a pair of homeless folks that were trying to camp out in our recycling area as a shelter last night. There were a couple times when I thought she was going to punch the girl who was obviously new to the homeless thing. Our working theory is she got thrown out of her house for using drugs and was "staying" with her dealer. It was fairly obvious that it was her first night on the streets as she had bagged groceries and was dressed for a night of clubbing - not hunkering down for the cold. Her paramour is a known entity around here.0 -

Next condo booked. Just north of Playa del Carmen. Well under budget so that’s awesome. Now we plan to go to San Miguel de Allende for the rest of spring. We tentatively plan to be in Mexico until June.
Went to a Mayan show last night with the expat meetup group. Lots of fire jugglers and aerial acts. New place and our group of 100+ completely overwhelmed them. There wasn’t good vegan options on the menu so we didn’t plan to eat anyway but our table mates waited over an hour just to get a menu. Skip would have had a blown blood vessel. We were just happy we arrived early and at least got a drink. They were not great so one was plenty. I left a $20 under our glass and called it good. I assume it would have taken another hour to get a check.

Good morning BBB friends.
The coffee maker (Cuisinart 14 Cup) arrived yesterday and had coffee waiting for me when I got up this morning. Only one programing glitch, I inadvertently set the hot plate to turn off right after brewing, so the coffee wasn't as hot as I'd like. That is corrected, now.
Picked up a trunk full of freshly cut cherry, yesterday. I need to process it into rough-turned pieces in the next week or two, so the wood doesn't crack. Also got the last components of my new dust=collection setup, so my turning will be healthier.
Taking down Christmas decorations at church today. Supper at DS's house tonight.0 -

- Good for Sheriff Cecilia. We saw homeless folks sleeping on the street in Savannah. You feel for them, but it is not a good environment. We don't have that out here in the sticks. Get well Cecilia.
- Moving is not a task for the meek. I don't want to do it again.
- It's good to know quality coffee is flowing in Tumwater once again.
- I predict you are going to love San Miguel de Allende Steph. Big expat community there. Might be a good place to plant roots. I had that dream once upon a time.

Next two airbnbs booked. We have a home through March. Need to book flights soon but lots of options. We have many online friends in SMA…not sure who will still be there in March. The weather looks heavenly. Way less humid but still sunny and warm.
borrowing our hosts bikes today for a tour around the island. If they work good and are comfortable we might go the 7 km across the island. There is a bike path once we get across. If not will just tootle around the outskirts of town.0
