Rise n shine.
Piano chords class later this morning. although I am learning a lot from this class, and even more in the Thursday beginner note-reading class, I think this is taking too much of my time. Requires a lot of practice. Will talk to the teacher afterwards.
Cardiologist visit went very well yesterday. Results of the stress test he did last summer showed no sign of heart artery narrowing, and echocardiogram showed the mild, valve stenosis has not worsened at all. He is concerned about leg swelling and increased my chlorthalidone dosage. Suggested taking magnesium with it--helps prevent potassium loss from that drug.
Bill, hope the pain doc procedure helps. Good luck!0 -
Happy Humping,

Good morning gentlemen.
You took the words out of my mouth, Sam - or off my fingertips.
Next-door neighbor's fence is falling over into my backyard. He's a lazy SOB so it will fall on me to try to prop it up until he does something about it. The guy is a retired Army first sergeant. I bet he had a lousy company.0 -
Good Morning
Dave, I had to laugh a bit about the Sergeant comment. An inconsiderate neighbor is never easy. I would prop it up and direct the lean toward his property.
Tutoring rescheduled until Thursday. My knee didn't last too long but we are close to picking a new recliner and I have made my decision on appliances. At that point I had to retreat home and rest and treat the knee. I picked up minimal groceries when I went to pick up Heather from work.
Mike, I hope you find a happy place with the piano. Perhaps chord theory is just a building block for a short time and then you will recapture that time and focus on learning songs. But you do have to practice if you want to improve. Once we pack up Christmas this weekend, my dulcimer & stuff will be moved downstairs so I can have better access to it. I don't know if my knee will tolerate standing at it to play, but I need to play more consistently and I can't do that if I have to climb stairs to do so. And I do enjoy it so.0
