Rainy day here in Mudville.
Trekking over bridget to College Park for a meeting this morning; DW called in to substitute.
Tucker gets some crate time as we still aren't comfortable taking him to Daycare.
Nice specs, Doc! I continue to wait *patiently* for mine.
DF arrives tomorrow. I bought extra 12 ounce liquid headache juice.
VFW on Sunday.

I got my trial contacts in now. Distance is good up close is good. Let’s see if my brain can handle it. I’m waiting on my new eyeglasses too. Ordered them Tuesday. They said should be here the 24th
Ds1 put in his 2 weeks notice. He loathes his job. He’s looking with no job in place. Makes me very anxious. His gf is fine with it. This will put the relationship to the test.
Not much else going on in Indiana. Just rain and lots of it.

I'm with you on DS jumping without a net, Kelly. I've been plenty miserable before and just gutted through it becuase savings don't last as long as you'd think they do.
We said farewell to our Talent & Culture lady yesterday. As part of my brining bourbon culture to the office, I brought a handle o Buffalo Trace to the party. 😉

Ron is off to men’s coffee this morning. Then we might make the trek up to our dive shop. Neither one of us took our phones so we couldn’t log our dives. They said to come back anytime. I’m guessing a 7 mile round trip walk.
Our host is on vacation for a week. The housekeeper is staying in his house in case we need anything. She has her tiny daughter with her and they have been enjoying the pool each night. So cute. Minimum wage in Mexico is just over $10 a day so I’m guessing no way they have a pool at home. I’m guessing he pays her more than that but probably not much.0 -

- I imagine a rush hour trek to College Park is a challenge.
- Today we get to do all the stuff we've been avoiding all week in preparation for our cruise.
- Tomorrow is drive to Ft. Lauderdale and board the Regal Princess Sunday morning.
- Preparing for a cruise when your fat pants are tight is not a good thing.

Cooler temps here today, and again Cloudy. A small chance of flurries. Still no white stuff on ground. Were gonna get slammed with snow at some point this winter.
Our home value has up'd $150k from our buying price 7 yrs ago according to our lender(which was too much then lol). Seems a bit much imo. Market still has more buyers than sellers even with rates up.

Dennis hope you and Kris have a GREAT time.
Will keep fingers crossed for DS1, our generation believes it is easier to get a new job when one has one; younger generation likes to fly by seat of pants. But then we did things that our parents did not recommend.
I cannot believe how housing prices have increased around here, but one needs to remember we went about three years without new construction because of information fed to us about COVID. There are more buyers than sellers and that drives prices up.
After storms came through last night, sunny and highs in low 40's
DD is heading to retreat in North Georgia mountains where they say could have up to two inches of snow.
They claim next week temps will be warmer than normal, feel Toad is going to have to get out again.
