    Good morning gentlemen.

Hope all are doing well, today, with aches and pains eased.

This will be a shop morning and football afternoon. I expect a rough day for the Seahawks, but I'll watch, anyway.

    Good morning!

Frankie woke me up at 4:30 this morning, right on schedule. She had started trying to wake me up at 4:00. I did something that I have not done in a very long time. I took her outside, fed her, and then I went back to bed. I slept again until 8:45. Wow! I was tired! I still don't feel like I have all of my sleepiness out.

I think that today will be about chores and projects. I seem to have a ton of them on my plate. Connie may suggest we go out and do some errands or something.

Bill, holding you close in prayer.

I have not tried turmeric. I may have to check that out.

    Have a great day!

    Good Morning,
Turmeric will take a few days to have full effect,
Been watching clips on mindful meditation through Yoga Alliance with warnings that blocking all pain could be harmful, I'm a good example burned myself several times without knowing it.
Few errands today then DS graduating Firefighter I and Hazmat school tonight; they have had him going into structures for more than six months.
Much cooler today, had planned on ride today, "Frosty Balls" decided I did not want frosty balls. 30's today high this afternoon in low 40's.

    Morning.

Freezing drizzle this morning when I awoke, forecast snow this evening, maybe heavy.

Will try daily turmeric and pepper to see if it helps hands and knee pain. Read up on it, amazing findings.

Book club meeting and potluck tonight. Reading poems about Epiphany—visit of the three wise men.

    Good Morning

I found Turmeric to very much to be a "Your Mileage May Vary" treatment. I made golden milk for about a year each day. Then an accupuncturist moved to be pills for a higher dose and better bio-absorption rate for two years. I finally gave them up without noticing any change. Everyone's physical issues are unique and their mix of bio-pharma treaments and lifestyle impacts are seem to shape tumeric's impact on their inflammation. But it is certainly worth exploring but make sure you are involving pepper and oil in the mix by hand or in capsule.

Yesterday's procedure went well. Even my knee is a bit better, probably from the added rest. I slept 6 hours yesterday afternoon. Took the new walker out to the Surgi-center to get used to it a bit. Seems easy enough after watching a youtube video. Ego is still sagging a bit. But this 8 year pain journey has done far worse battering of my psyche at times and landed me in counseling for a bit. So I think I will survive. Knee surgeon appt on Monday. Rain is pouring down as a new multi day stretch of storms comes in. Patio is already flooded. It drains into the soil at the low end of the patio. The clay soil is saturated. Christmas starts coming down as my son and wife will try to get the boxes down and in inbetween showers. I will try and help take down the decorations until Heather gives me "guidance"

Yea thanks for reminding me about the Seahawks. I have really no illusions about them "going all the way". I just want to see them play with good effort.
I totally agree with Bill about the tumeric and pill forms of tumeric. I don't know how much it helps. I was having swelling and fluid on my knee(s). I started taking naproxen/Aleve to reduce the inflammation. It seemed to help. I didn't like some side effects and decided to try tumeric. In my case I haven't had the more severe fluid etc. No way to know if it helps but it doesn't seem to bother me either.
I wouldn't think tumeric or aleve would do that much for real bone on bone stuff anyway.
Good luck with your knee surgeon!!!!
For pills I have tried "Dr's Best High absorption Curcumin (the active ingredient in tumeric) which has a pepper extract in it. I take these pills with me when I travel instead of mincing up my own with ground pepper.

Growing older is not for the timid.

Have fun and be as pain free as possible guys!!
