So, this may be a silly question or maybe I'm overlooking the information, but how exactly does this challenge work? I'm confused about what I am supposed to be doing exactly. Any help or information would be great! Thanks1

Steps challenge will be posted later, I was holding out for a couple late posts and then got dogpiled. I've got the evening free and it is too cold to walk outside ... I promise! I have not forgotten!Username: Stimpy56

I am happy with not loosing this week as we have Family staying with us. We have been eating out a lot and some of my food choices were not so good, but they were delicious. I Don't sweat the small stuff and realize that sometimes spending time with Family is more important.
Yeah, this!kylajanae78 wrote: »So, this may be a silly question or maybe I'm overlooking the information, but how exactly does this challenge work? I'm confused about what I am supposed to be doing exactly. Any help or information would be great! Thanks

All of our bolded steppers set a goal and met it, based on their average steps per day!
A fairly large percentage of our steppers increased their steps over last week!
Look at those amazing step numbers! Well walked!4 -
I like to think that I am a part of a team of like minded individuals, thriving to reach their goals. And although I have not met anyone in person, I feel connected and supported. Seeing the weight loss by team for February is super motivating!
I have been on the weight loss journey before. I have weighed 145 size 4 at my smallest, and 310 size 20 at my biggest.
The weight came on gradually. After each new life event the scale crept up and up: college graduation, teaching job, marriage, pregnancy.
I have changed and grown, just like my waistband! However, I’m committed and ready to get back to myself again. Its a for life thing. Its not just a diet that I’m doing. I get that.
Thanks for letting me be a part of the team.
Add me as a friend We’ll help motivate each other!
Best,

Friday weigh-in 2/24
PW: 164.5
CW: 163.4
Going in the right direction again. Still half a pound to go before I get back to where I was before my vacation. Hopefully by my next weigh-in it will be gone.
I had some trouble with afternoon snacking this week. Over snacked then had to cut my calories at dinner to make up for it. I also had too much sodium. It feels like my body is fighting against me but I'm hoping that it'll be a bit easier in the coming week. I would really like to get below 160 before the end of March.
Have a great weekend!3 -

Good morning everyone, thought I would introduce myself. I'm Kelli. 46 yo mom of 4 (+1...one of my boys got married last year). I work full time as a pediatric home health nurse. My husband, daughter, our youngest son and I all train in the martial arts. Even with the workouts in martial arts, I was eating unhealthy stuff. Last year I tested for black belt and had decided a month before to lose some weight before the test. I lost 15 lbs (used Noom at that time) before the test. I didn't pass the test and one of the things they mentioned to my instructor was about my weight. So I've been working on losing more before I test again. So far I'm another 17 lbs down (kinda took the holidays off and gained back 6 lbs). My long term goal is to lose about 125 lbs and I've lost 32 so far. Besides martial arts I've recently added in yoga to help with my flexibility and balance. Decided to join this challenge to help keep my motivation up. 💪5

Welcome new team mates. My gym membership has now been officially canceled so I will not be able to go to zumba tomorrow. I am a little sad about that, but onky going once a week was not worth it. I just did a treadmill workout and will be going to the trampoline place today. It's one of my granddaughters birthday parties. I do plan on jumping so that will be some more exercise. I am going to look into some beachbody programs and see if there is one I want to incorporate with my treadmill.3

Hello everyone. Not sure how this exactly works, but trying new things. I’m hoping to lose the pounds and get back in shape. Winter here, so only the gym for now. Need to drop some pounds so I can not suffer so much dirt biking. At 57, it’s not exactly an old person sport lol. Hope everyone gets to their goal.4

Free to use recommendations
Since Fitbit announced they're ending the challenges, so many people have opened accounts on Stridekick app to continue doing similar challenges. If that is the type of thing that motivated you, I recommend it. You just need to link your step tracker device (can be your phone). My name on the app is BodyTalking if your want to connect.
I've also downloaded these apps: 8fit, Stacked, Freeletics. So far 8fit looks good. I can also recommend Fiton, Nike and Lose Weight in 30 Days apps for exercises and workouts.
Like most apps, there are pay to use options if you want to take it up a level.
Sometimes, the app reminders are the little motivators we need to get moving.1 -
