Handle 3 S's and get moving (LOL Drill Sargent Sam)
Going be at a dog club meeting this afternoon, so won't get to watch the Eagles 49ers game. But hope to get home in time for venison chili and the Bengals Chiefs game. Rooting for Purdy and Burrows.

    Be OP ;-)

    Good Morning!

Lee, I do hope your work smooths out for you soon. I'm still in the heat of year-end myself. I had really hoped to be done this week, but that won't happen. I'm still probably two weeks out at least.

Lee, I hate to disappoint you, but Mahomes and crew will take home the Lamar Hunt trophy today.

Bill, it sounds like a solid plan is coming together for you. I hope that it works out and you sell your existing place soon. Then you can enjoy lots of walks on the beach with your new pain free knee.

Today will be about chores until the football game.

    Have a great day!

I like Maholmes and Andy Reid. If they win, I will not be surprised or disappointed.

    Good Morning

No football here. I started ignoring the NFL a few years back though living in the Bay Area it is hard not to be caught up in the Purdy story. Pretty remarkable. I enjoy WTA Tennis and all things Warriors mostly.

Our trip here has been a bit of a bust. We are grabbing some breakfast and heading home early with a stop in Bandon for some fudge I am told. Our realtor had no homes to show us but didn't tell us and didn't seem to understand that we made the trip for that purpose despite our communication. The market is constrained right now though there are a few homes we could have looked at to see if that is what we should be focusing on. We would have just stayed home and worked on packing some of the projects in front of us. She talks better than she listens. We are not banking on her for much at this point. We did see a new build that had a model open. Funky not quite duplex living with minimal outdoor space which didn't seem to bother us too much. Shiny everything new was quite intoxicating. So we will go home and regroup. We don't expect to be back up here till we are ready to move here. Great weather for the 2 day drive home.

    Good morning gentlemen.

I'll try to watch some football, when I get home from church. I have to pull for Purdy, and I'll go for the Chiefs just because they are west of the Mississippi.

That's tough about the realtor, Bill. I might look for a new one. I did a search online and there were quite a few listings from the Florence area, everything from $$ multiple millions to old mobile homes. Pick your taste.

It's sunny today, but chilly and breezy. I hope to take a hike, tomorrow. I haven't been on a trail in months.

    Mornin'

Will stop by DS's to check out the game. He's a fanatic, watches all the games, but I usually only watch a few Patriot's games and then the finals/superbowl. Prefer live HS and college ball much better, when DGSs are playing.

Bill, that's outrageous, driving all that way to get stood up by that dufus realtor.

I bought the old 88-key keyboard. It's a beast, 80 lbs. at least. I had to tie it to a 4 wheel dolly to ramp it up to the 3rd floor this morning. Cleaned it up--dusty/dingy, made in 1986 I think--and mounted it on some cement blocks till I get a proper stand for it. Very cool instrument, although the sound is distorted, something electronic going on. I'm getting a MIDI cable to run it through my other keyboard's processor, which has great piano sounds. May also try to troubleshoot the electronics to see if it's something simple. Rather than clutter up my place more, it forced me to get things out of the way to make room, and has jump started some cleaning here.

Church this evening after the game.

Dave, hope you get out for a nice hike.

    Afternoon,
    Churched and schooled this morning
No plans for afternoon, though DW would like help on cleaning house, she is having her Emmaus group over tomorrow night; she spent yesterday cleaning downstairs; planning upstairs today. Do not know what she is going to do with DMIL, I have a meeting tomorrow evening that she pointed out I scheduled.
