Good morning gentlemen.
It's 5:22 and I have already taken Sassy out in the 26-degree backyard three times. I believe all her business is concluded, now.
Errands with Rita, today, followed by choir, tonight.0 -
Morning...
Went to a lodge meeting last night, first in a long while. Nice to see the men again, lots of fund raising projects coming up.
Sunny morning, but icy blast coming they say.
Yeah, Dave... 1000' and 12 miles may be disappointing if your accustomed to a lot more, but nothing to sneeze at for anyone of any age. I once did 10 mi. and 4000' up Mt. Katahdin and couldn't walk upright or go down stairs for a week. Now I'd have to be carried out.
Still working on my piano keyboard--the patchcord came in but there's pages and pages of instructions on how to configure the computer. Beginner piano this morning. I did get rid of my cement blocks finally, and more clutter is going out soon.
Have a great day.0 -
Good morning!
I agree with the others. Dave, you may think that you are out of shape by your standards, but your hikes are more than impressive for anyone.
Mike, good luck with the electronics. I seem to always have mixed luck with electronics.
Still just super busy at work. Yuck.

Good Morning
Dave, not too shabby. But I know you are used to doing more. I hope you are able to get out more this year. But you are aging better than most of us.
Easy day yesterday trying to rest after little sleep. I did get my hammered dulcimer tuned as the humidity keeps dancing around so it will shift again but not much. I practiced like a guy who hasn't played much this past year. I 2 online classes tomorrow morning that I will work on today. The knee is still grumpy today, but I did get more sleep. Off to get the car smog tested so I can register it. Than it is back here to get done the stuff I didn't do yesterday before heading out to the hospital for my pre-op appointment. The EKG and bloodwork is already done so it shouldn't take too long. Hard to park at the hospital so long walks are often part of the package. I might break out the walker which is easier for me to go farther. I can't wait to shed that thing, get healed and go walking with my wife. Maybe someday I will work up to some hiking. Dave has me missing it though the days of being at the trailhead in Yosemite at sunlight and coming back mid afternoon are long gone. But if we are moving to Oregon beauty abounds.0 -
