The deep freeze cometh. Its already blowing and temperatures are dropping.
Dang, missed three days posting again. Work is getting really worky.
12 miles and 1000 ft pretty darn impressive, Dave.
Made some of the best venison chili ever yesterday afternoon. Had two big bowls at dinner and therefore didn't sleep great.
Did not realize you used a walker at times, Bill. Hoping your new knee will get rid of walker and help back.

    Be OP ;-)

    Morning...

12º and falling with a blustery wind. Supposed to get blood test for potassium (BP pills can deplete it) but not sure I want to go out and drive anywhere far today or tomorrow.

After fiddling with wires and switches and MacBook settings all afternoon I read about an app that simply connects all the music devices plugged into your computer. Installed it and bingo! my "new" keyboard makes sound some out of my old keyboard, without the scratchy sound effects and annoying echoes added. It's great.

    Mmmmm, venison chili.

    Good Morning

You used an App??? Your McGyver reputation is going to take a hit once that gets out.

My grumpy knee got grumpier yesterday even using the walker to get around the hospital for my pre-op stuff. I finally ended up taking a Tramadol to ease the burn. Regrettably I woke at 1:30 and couldn’t get back to sleep. This happens sometimes after taking pain meds though not too much with tramadol. Who knows? But the knee is calmer and the back is calming down too. At least I am down to only one more post-op hoop to jump through next week. I have another virtual Dulcimer Festival this weekend. Only 2 classes today starting at 6am and 4 more tomorrow. I have hardly played this past year especially these 6 months, but the dulcimer is now down stairs where I can get to it and is reasonably in tune. I will do my best and be glad no one can hear me on Zoom. Biggest challenge will be standing at the thing for an hour at a time. It was hard on my back yesterday when I practiced a bit.. I got an old stool to lean against when I tire. I am interested to see what I can do.

    Good morning gentlemen.

Playing the hammer dulcimer is just so cool, Bill. Hope the new knee makes the standing easier.

We had a really good choir practice, last night. This is a pretty talented group. It's fun to sing with them.

Our weather is getting a bit warmer - and wetter - today. No frost this morning, and the rain arrives around mid-day.

Yeah Lee I heard the deep freeze was a comin' for you. Venison chili sounds great and should warm ya up!!
So sorry about your grumpy knee Bill
Yup no frost today here in PDX area either. wetter and just started sprinkling a bit.
I didn't do great on my left eye in the test but no real surprise there. My eye doc wants to add drops 3 times a day with two different drops at bedtime. I am repeating the test first soon.
