I am going to be honest with you. I am not the best with simple syrups.
Months ago, I attempted to accomplish a Brown Sugar simple syrup recipe. You could not taste the brown sugar at all, no matter how much brown sugar that I used. Then, I did not want to use the whole container of brown sugar for one serving!
I was attempting to prepare Brown Sugar simple syrup for use in creating mochas.
About Jalapeno simple syrup...
This simple syrup just might pull through for me.
I like iced tea. I like lemonade. I like Arnold Palmers.
However, I can never get the right taste.
I like Southern Sweet Tea, but the recipe calls for way too much sugar.
I like unsweetened tea, but even with lemon or lime, tastes too boring.
I like lemonade, but yet again too much sugar.
I do not like sugar--free lemonade, as is too tart.
So, this Jalapeno simple syrup, just might do the trick and do a little pizzazz.
