    Prayers for Bill today, recovering hopefully after his knee job. Walk, well, my brother.

    This morning, helping DS, whose car alternator and battery croaked, finding him a cheap alternative to his robber mechanic. Then piano chords class, then this evening dinner at DS's. Never got in a walk yesterday.

    Was up till almost midnight playing various piano sheet music our teacher gave me. I should put a timer on the circuit breakers or something so I can get to bed.

    Discovered this morning that I was making my coffee for the last few weeks with decaf, not real coffee. The bag is not clearly marked and it was a new brand/variety I bought, not realizing it was decaf. Might be the second time this has happened... they'll be hiring a caretaker for me soon...

    Bob, careful on the icy trails with that bike. I envy your steely outlook on exercise.

    Mornin' gents.

    I'm trying to decide if it was me drinking decaf and not realizing it, would I just keep drinking decaf?
    Not feeling great today, but someone has to make the donuts.
    Hope Bill made it home yesterday and all is well post op.

    Yes, hoping all went well for Bill.

    I suspect I would go into withdrawal symptoms, if I had only decaf in the morning. Especially on mornings like today, when I woke at 3:30 and couldn't get back to sleep.

    I rigged a way to use my stabilized hollowing system/tool to sand the inside of the vase I am working on. Lots of sanding to do to get it where I want it. Kind of dumb, since no one will be able to touch it, but I know other turners will inspect the inside and I want it to look smooth and finished.

    I have the day off today for the Chiefs parade.

    I am now sick with what Collin and Connie had. Ugh!

    I am in deep, deep doggy doo. I don't know how I did it, maybe two appointments yesterday, one in the morning, and one in the afternoon, but I didn't get Connie anything for Valentine's day. She is hurt and angry. I don't know how to fix that. Not trying to come up with excuses. but with the burnout that I'm dealing with at work, all kinds of things are slipping through the cracks.

    Praying for Bill. Lee, I also pray that you survive your day while not feeling well.

    I have payroll tomorrow, so I have to go in.

    Yep, a card would have been cheap compared to what it's going to cost, I suggest a two- or three-day trip somewhere she would enjoy going plus several dinners out.
