Mentally spent. 8 hours of shooting photo's and videos and moving this piece of decor here. Back to there. Or removing. Ugh. Hope to see final products later today for "Coming Soon" MLS listing tomorrow (Friday)!

DW/DMIL stayed at hotel again as the night photo's didn't conclude until after 8p.

Another round with Eyeglasses yesterday! Been battling since they converted from Mom/Pop local business to MyEyeDr in October 2022. I STILL DO NOT have my glasses! #NotHappy

The funeral was nice, but brief. I had plenty of time to wander the airport in Louisville and found the bourbon bar to kill time. Got home last night a little before midnight.

Even ordering glasses from the Army never took more than two weeks. Those must be the special glasses with the Xray lenses, Skip. I'd have canceled the order and gone to another business four months ago.

The cable company contacted me, yesterday, to tell me that our equipment is out of date. After 45 minutes on the phone with a technician, it turns out that they will get us three new cable boxes and a new modem, providing much better service, and will schedule a free installation, and we will end up paying $50 less a month. I never thought I would have positive thoughts about Xfinity.

Had a nice evening at DS's house playing board games, last night. Grandkids were begging to come stay with us whenever than can. We are blessed.

All the schools are closed here because it might snow this afternoon, Huh? I get so many kids take the buses, but still. Its not even raining or snowing yet. Maybe we'll get snowbound for a Day? I best run out for milk and bread. Not.

I see Tiger Woods is back on the course. Heading to the masters in April too.

I'm having my 2 brothers and sil for dinner next week. No ideas what to serve them?

I have a zoom at 11am. Guess I need to do my hair, get dressed etc. Lol

Well, dread mill is calling me to walk, so I'll get at it.

• Welcome home Lou.
• "$50 less a month." Yeh, that is suspicious. I had a similar situation 12 months ago and they gave me a discount for a year. I'm waiting to see what my bill will be next month.
• "schools are closed here because it might snow this afternoon" Now that sounds like Georgia. I think they plan for so many snow days and they are going to use them one way or another.
• I had a very nice brunch ride yesterday. Toad wanted Stella to come out and play today but my calendar is packed.
• How come Lisa went to Hawaii and didn't invite us?

Morning BBB

So far SMA is great. We are in a nice complex about 25 minute walk to Centro. Our apartment doesn’t have heat or AC if that tells you anything about the climate. It is a little cool in the mornings but otherwise perfect.

Both major grocery stores are a 15 minute walk. They are both amazing. I did stop for beans and avocado at the little tienda ( neighborhood store) and thought their prices were high.

Our coffee maker is a dulce gusto which is the espresso version of Kurig. Today we are in the hunt for a reusable pod. Or we may buy a coffee maker. The pods are pricy and espresso isn’t my drink of choice.


We went to the last day a garden show yesterday. It was amazing. Today will be more exploring.

So it’s raining here all day and I’m in the tire shop. Front right tire keeps showing low. Ugh

I too was actually impressed by Comcast xfinity last month. I got a reduction too.Hmm.
Verizon impressed me the most. Lowered my bill by about $50 a month too and all 5g. Whatever that means.

West you able to pick out glasses by yourself skip or did your FaceTime someone?

Reilly is looking to move. I don’t know if I told you or not but the homeless camp has moved but he actually CAUGHT or wrestled with someone actively breaking into his house last week. Police caught the guy due to Reilly’s video and then on Monday there was a shootout behind his house and his video caught the guy LITERALLY trying to throw the gun on Reilly’s roof!! Police response was terrific!! Unbelievable.

Picked out specs all by myself. Lenses came and no tint. Reorder game and the lens was cracked. Hoping this third time is the charm.

Good Afternoon,
Emmaus breakfast then road up through North Georgia mountains. Dressed for 70's damp and cool in mountains, coming back about 75 miles from home sun out and had to stop and take hoodie off.
Temps dropping tomorrow and below freezing Saturday morning.
Getting new handlebars for Toad next Tuesday.
Warmer temps means more bugs, need to go give Toad a bath.
