LOL, Mike. Taking a little extra time to get a joke happens to me all the time.
Light snow here this am, kinda pretty, but it'll be gone this evening when the rain rolls in. We have daffodils and crocuses coming up. I wonder if the sugaring season will be any good this year.
Veterinarians always work President's day.
Took a nice long hike with DW sans dogs Sunday morning. Probably just under 4 miles. I felt pretty good during and even at the end. But after sitting down for 30 minutes, I stiffened up and started aching. Needed a tramadol to stay active through the rest of the day.
Bill, hang in there, buddy. Gotta keep the pain under control.

Good Morning,
Sunny now expecting lite rain in little over an hour
I've been having to take tramadol for mouth since they prepped for crown, never had this issue before.
Arthur must be happy we are in upper 70's and may hit 80's a couple days this week, cold front coming in Friday and will only get to 72 Saturday.0 -
Good morning gentlemen.
It's on an upward plane, now, Bill. I expect you to see improvement every day.
Windy and chilly in Western Washington. It's going to get a lot colder later this week, as we drop into the teens by Thursday. Want to trade weather, Sam?
Spent some time in the shop yesterday and finish-turned a nice bowl I started three years ago. It is a mystery wood. I was on my game, and it came out pretty nice, with some decorative raised beads below the rim.
The grandkids left yesterday afternoon. Sassy was sad, but returned to my lap last night, after three days focused on our DGD.0 -
Yup Lee! Holidays in a "dog eat dog" world command attention from veterinarians. teehee.
Bill: we are all hoping for the best with your pain issues.
Wow Sam sorry about the tramadol w a crown prep. Lucky me (dental wise) that I had a crown replacement prep, crown 3D construction, and mounting all within 2 hours and no anesthetic needed.
Wish my eye stuff was as simple as it is for 99% of folks. Sadly no in and out trabeculoplasty laser in the works. At least it is very questionable at this point. I suspect old school trabeculectomy full on surgery should we go that route. Same for the cataract no easy peezy one possible either because of my wonky condition.
We are getting ready to go to Winthrop Washington in the Northeastern part of the state. It is going to be 3 or 4 degrees above zero there sometime Wed thru Friday. We wont go for another week or so after that and after the arctic blast has past. My son is there now (bundle up buddy).
We may get bit of snow here near PDX sometime Wed thru Thur. Chilly cold for sure. Maybe a record Low High temperature for Thursday hi temp (hi of 33 deg predicted for my neighborhood)
Good fortunes to all with pain.

Almost forgot to check in today...
A few too many cookies at Bible study group this morning. Enough! Tomorrow is the beginning of Lent, I need to get into some plan of discipline here. Will start simple--take a walk every morning the next 40 days, to set the tone for the day. Decided to cancel the canoe trip tomorrow--a bit too cold, and cloudy--and will do a hike in the wildlife area instead, a 5 miler at least.
Dropped off more odds and ends at recycling center today, and picked up a piano lamp I hung on the wall over my keyboard. Between ramping up the decluttering and starting out daily with a walk, I may get on track with other things, including even regular moderation in eating.
Had some snow overnight, but more may be coming in a few days. Mixed messages in forecasts, we'll see.0
