Good morning gentlemen.
Woke up to a snow-covered world, in Tumwater. Not a lot of snow, but enough to blanket everything. When Sassy went out for her first trip to the backyard, she couldn't just take care of business, she had to sprint around the yard a few times and jump up on me in excitement. She loves snow.
It's in the 20s and 30s for the next several days. I hope this is the last of winter for us. I'll spend some time in the shop, today, then have choir tonight.0 -
LOTS of snow in Portland. over 10" at official site. Over 5 inches at my house. No snowplows around any neighborhoods here and freeways snarled including abandoned vehicles too.0

Good Morning
No snow down here but lots of cold wind and rain. The Sierras will get a nice load of snow though.
I had a good visit with the Dr. Things are on track. I got to see the X-rays of the new knee joint. I now shift to out patient PT late next week. A rough morning today. The knee and ankle swelled up so I am on my back icing the elevated limb while I await my PT visit. I am just going to keep pushing forward.0 -
Bill, you keep getting the short end of the stick, it seems. Hope you work through the PT issues with few negative consequences.
I spent an hour and a half turning a scrap of maple into a cool little cup - I was thinking whiskey glass. I knew the bottom was very thin but didn't realize how thin until I popped the bottom out while sanding. Well, shoot! Now I am deciding whether I can fix this by putting a layer of epoxy in the bottom, sealing the crack and reinforcing the wood fibers.0 -
Snow and ice here, chiseled out my car and went to Senior Center to discover it was closed--no piano class today.
Bill, glad you're making progress, hope things heal up without incident.
That's a lot of snow for Portland.0 -
Sunny and warm here, low 80's, chance of rain tomorrow as cold front comes through dropping temps down where highs are only in 70's0
