    Good morning.

Up at 3:30, ugh. Never got out for a walk yesterday. Piano job yesterday went 3 hours, and went okay after I got the hang of it, but will go back to sr. center this morning to put final touches on it. Left some things disconnected and will need to bring up to pitch. Piano teacher emailed everyone last night to tell us he has COVID. I was close to him twi days in a row last week; so far I'm not sick, but I'll do a test this morning anyway.

I don't know if coffee will do the trick this morning... a walk will certainly help me wake up.

    Good morning!

Mike, I am having a very hard time waking up this morning. Your self-taught piano tuning skills are amazing. I'll bet that the senior center is very happy that you are helping them out in this way.

I was determined that I would make solid progress yesterday in getting the year closed. Yet another day of doing zero to that end. We had a guest show up fairly early yesterday morning. He was an OSHA inspector. I spent most of the rest of the day dealing with him, interviews with him and several employees, pulling documents for him, etc. Yesterday was so much fun it should be illegal. The company will be hit pretty hard, and rightfully so! I'm hoping it will wake people up for the need for safety.

Our weather is returning to winter for several days. Flowers are starting to come up and trees are starting to bud. This is the time of year when you worry about plants freezing. On the other hand, mother nature has been going through this cycle for centuries, and the plants will do fine without our intervention.

    Have a great day!

Steve, you are a fine worker, with integrity and dedication; I'm sure you could find a better company to work with to bring all the skills and experience you are able to give. Meanwhile I'm hoping somebody there wakes up to the cracks in the foundation and starts managing the right way. You deserve better...

    Good morning gentlemen.

Got an over-billing by the cable company cleared up (I hope) yesterday, with them showing a credit on our account. We'll see what happens next month.

Lots of errands to run, today: pharmacy, banking, groceries, haircut. Little chance to get in the shop.

    Good Morning,
Just for the record Sam does not trust cable and satellite companies either; each year we have to either change companies or threaten to change; this year they jumped price up over a hundred dollars and wanted $180 per month; I wanted to throw TV's out, DW got it down to $67 a month, wonder how long that will last.
Steve, it will be easier if you can stick it out because of insurance but there are companies that need someone to fill in while primary person is out for sickness, pregnancy or seeking new employee; some temp services offer benefits; family companies need someone to come in and train someone to handle financials.
Bill, glad you are on the mend.
Lee, you seem to be busier now than when you owned practice.

    Good Morning

Late check-in after early morning PT and home to ice.

Steve, you are a man of integrity, among your other qualities. Perhaps ownership will realize that their investment is suffering due to poor operations management. I will be praying.

PT really ramped things up this morning. A few times I gave her the "are you insane" look but found out she wasn't. Though when she had me balance on my affected leg a bit it was not too easy to believe she wasn't nuts. So much of this is mental. But I am amazed by how much more she had me do and I have the home workout to prove it. I need to reorganize my home workout notes to keep it going. I am very thankful for this past week of progress. I am cutting back the pain meds more today (I hope). Yesterday I started changing my icing regimen. Long road ahead but at the 3-week mark I am smiling.
