VERY late night continuing to pack and wipe down shelves; drawers, etc. Cleaning team will come through Sunday and make it sparkle. We sign papers this morning at 11:45. What a week. Still lots of boxes left in the house. Alas, we'll figure it out.

DF arrives tonight at 8p for the big VFW ceremony tomorrow.

I'll light a candle that these glasses work out, Skip. Although seeing you go Michael Douglas in Falling Down could be entraining to see as well.
They're closing the streets in the southeast part of downtown for SXSW festival. Driving is going to be miserable. We have dinner reservations at a nice fish place tomorrow night which, mercifully, isn't near the action.1 -

- Impressive progress Skip. It's good to get it dried in and secure. Unfortunately, progress 'appears' to be much slower from here on out.
- I'm envious of your trans-pacific cruise Steph. You and Ron are having a great year.
- I can only imagine the traffic for SXSW. It'll get crazy around here next month for the Masters Tournament and we're not all that close. We don't even try to go to restaurants that week.
- How are the floors in Columbus?
- It appears our friends up north got snow.

Good morning BBB friends.
As I recall our house-building experience, they got the outside buttoned up, but then it took forever to complete the interior. We, too, had to stay in a hotel for several weeks between closing on the sale of our old home, before the new one was ready to occupy.
It's cold and rainy, here, but tree pollen doesn't care. I have begun my six months of "seasonal allergies." Sniffing, snorting and sneezing. Also snoring, so I spent the night in the guest room.
Smoking some ribs today, and Rita is baking a cake, for a belated b-day celebration with family.0 -

Ran out of my allergy pills. I thought I had enough for our whole stay in Mexico but apparently I miscounted. Found them at the Rx down the street for 37p for 10. (About $2). Not as good as Costco price but acceptable.
Today we might go to RoboFest. It’s a stem competition. It’s a pretty far walk and they don’t have a schedule posted so might just wait until tomorrow when the activities start at noon. But then we miss the very good farmers market in the next neighbor over.
Except for. Few travel days here and there we have lodging booked thru October 20. Now just need to figure out our two weeks on Nebraska without a car.0 -

The floors still aren’t done. They’ll be back tomorrow and then they’ll finish. Good grief. Only the steps to go, hall closet and 1 strip in the kitchen. Sooo close.

Long day.
We signed. The buyer walk thru is Sunday. He signs Monday.
DMIL and MBR are both on main level. Loft and basement have full BR and en-suite.
