Good morning!
I took a three hour nap yesterday afternoon, and went to bed early last night. I woke up not feeling well, but certainly feeling much better. Thank you all for the well wishes.
I am thankful that although it has been cold and wet here, it has been liquid, not frozen. They say we may get a little frozen on Friday, but not much is expected. I'm ready for Spring!
Have a great day!0 -
Not sure of total accumulation, but somewhere between 12 and 16 inches. I moved some snow yesterday afternoon, but at least another 6-8 inches came down after. Snow appears to have stopped, and this morning's clean up should be the last time for this storm, hopefully for the season.
Methotrexate injections? I thought that was an oral med. I am overdue for my Skyrizi (every 12 weeks), but am holding off until recheck with rheumatologist next week. I think it makes me fatigued, and even though I have seen some improvement since being on it, I am not sure that it is worth battling the fatigue. Methotrexate may be the next thing we try. It certainly doesn't seem to cause you fatigue, Sam.
Every patient is different, Bill. I do a fair amount of orthopedic procedures on my patients and it is always pleasing when the use of the limb occurs ahead of schedule, but the cases that seem to be behind schedule ultimately do just fine so long as the owners don't give up on PT. When I had my replacement, I excelled in every aspect except for range of motion, but it took me forever to get to 120 degrees of flexion. To this day, I am stuck at 120 degrees.

Morning.
We got buried in snow here—not sure of totals but looks like around two feet. Strange thing is, next town over, 20 minute drive, got 2”. Berkshire hills 100 miles west of here got 30”. Schools closed again today, but the sun is peaking through the clouds.
DS took methotrexate when he was first diagnosed with his liver disease. A researcher in Boston was hoping it was a cure, although didn’t pan out. 30 years and two liver transplants later Shawn keeps going, thank God. Teaches, swims, runs 5Ks.
Steve, feel better soon—hang in there with year end and job decisions. Bill, sounds like good news so far on the knee.
Will slap on the snowshoes and get some real exercise for a change.
Have a good day.

Good Morning,
Happy Humping,
Glad you got some rest Steve,
Enjoy snow and recreation in snow, I'll stick to warmth here even though it is cold for me.
I believe every joint in body is swollen,
Believe I'll have to just call yoga since body does not want to work.0 -
Good morning gentlemen.
Sorry about the missing meds, Sam. Hope you can find a supplier, or an alternative, soon.
You're buried under snow, and we've warmed enough that the peepers are singing in the ponds. Balance.
The grandkids came over just in time to go to bed, last night. I need to cook breakfast and drive them to school, this morning. Pick them up this afternoon, too. Their parents will pick them up this evening. We get them back Friday, for the weekend.0 -
Good Morning
Fun time at PT yesterday. I felt like she was trying to get me back on track all in one session. It really wore me out. But I will just keep pushing ahead. More aggresive icing today to get the swelling down. Our rainy weather has disappeared and we have 3 days of partly cloudy skies ahead of us. The rather winds have died down after yesterdays brutal assault. Lots of tries down. One came down on a house as a reporter was interviewing a couple in front of the house. Heather is home sick from school with a cold so it will be a quiet day at home.0 -
