    Rise and shine...

Exhausting snowshoe hike yesterday, despite the already broken in trails. Probably 3 feet of snow; went home and cat napped the rest of the day. I think if I did that every day I'd be down to goal weight in a month.

Steve, sounds like that doctor has a special insight into the situation at work. Remarkable. I wish you all the best, whatever decision you make.

Shopping today and some chores at home.

    Good morning gentlemen.

Yardwork, yesterday. Grandkids soccer, today. DS and DDIL are heading out of town again, so we're taking the kids to their first soccer games of the season. As the two kids' games have overlapping times, at widely divergent locations, their other grandparents are also enlisted as taxi drivers. After the games are over, all six of us will go for ice cream, or pizza - still to be determined.

    Good morning!

Thank you men for your kind words. I have a lot of praying to do this weekend.

It was 15 degrees this morning when I took the dog out. We are supposed to maybe get to 30 today with stiff north winds. Spring starts next week, right?

I'm not sure what is on tap for today. Probably not much outside.

    Have a great day!

    Good Morning

Mike, back in our more active snowshoeing days, we found breaking trail to less than fun and something to avoid. We would find trails in Yosemite that were reasonably established for our treks.

A quiet day yesterday keeping Heather company as she recovers from her bug. I am hoping today she is up to taking a drive before the clouds roll back in. Otherwise it is my usual exercise and rest. Yesterday was my first full day primarily using the cane. So good so far, though I have to be careful in the evening when I am more tired from it all and likely to wobble. Heather has excellent wobble radar.

I was going to try snowshoeing last week but x.c. and ice skating outside instead. Sounds like fun.
Yard work Dave. Sounds familiar. I mowed the lawn yesterday ahead of the next series of showers.
Yeah Bill, always good to avoid the wobbleys.

Yosemite is totally buried in snow right now that's for sure. I have broken trail on x.c. skiis but not tried snowshoeing. I didn't know about the trail breaking with snowshoes. I make the mistake of assuming that you were just on top of the snoe anyway. Oh well.

    Have fun all.
