    Have fun with breaking fast, chef Dennis! Did you have to take out a loan for the eggs?
    I hunt and fish, but DW is the real hunter. She found a 2lb beef flank steak for $6.27 manager's special at Shop Rite. Not gonna tell you how much a 2lb venison steak costs. Beef is definitely a better deal even at regular prices. Even buying Wagyu is probably cheaper than harvesting wild venison or catching striped bass. Shooting stocked pheasant, at $16 per bird to stock, that maybe produces 2 lbs of meat (add in the cost of care of dogs and hunting gear and it is probably $20/lb), is cheaper than Waqyu or good prime cuts.

    I'm following the NIT. That says enough about my basketball year. Ducks host Wisconsin, next.

    I love a good hash, with a couple runny eggs on top. Can't imagine a recipe, though. Chop up the leftovers mix 'em up and fry them. The only key is to push it down in the pan and let it sit long enough to get a good crust. The great things about THAT hash are that everything is already seasoned and it's fast and convenient.

    Still have the grandkids, so have to get them to school, pick them up and deliver them to piano lessons and soccer practice, before feeding and getting them to sleep tonight. Their mom will pick them up in the morning (probably), unless they get back from skiing earlier than expected.

    Spring is starting off with a bit of a chill, but later in week will be in 80's
    Off to yoga, then finish a few items on ramp we put in Saturday.
    Practice at lodge tonight.

    • All the fine ladies and gentlemen at church are fed. Glad to have that behind me. Now it's time for a nap.
    • The purchase of 12 dozen eggs may cause some concern with the Federal Reserve.
    • I'm a diehard baseball fan, a fair-weather football fan but I don't care if basketball is ever played again.
    • That was some Nascar race in the ATL yesterday. Kind of rare to see a green flag finish these days. They are coming your way next weekend Lou.
    • Safe travels Steph. A bus trip through the Mexican countryside should be interesting.

    I’m home for the day and cleaning here.

    My bracket that I didn’t complete would’ve been busted when Purdue lost Friday. Painter needs to find new employment.
