    Good Morning,
Up early to get car serviced, they ruined my day by telling me I had to have new tires; they will be in later today.
When I get home DW is leaving to pick up DMIL,
Looks like it will be a nice spring day,

    Good morning BBB friends.

Hope you day gets better, Skip.

Shop time, today, waiting for a friend to drop off some hawthorn wood from a tree he took down last week. I have never turned hawthorn, so I am looking forward to this.

Apple trees are budding out, in the back yard. Very spring-like.

    Morning BBB

The cat is finally used to us…but now she talks to us half the night. She might get shut in the master bedroom tonight ( they told us we could do this if we wanted).

Found Kirkland peanut butter this week so making Thai spicy peanut noodles for lunch. Yum.

Drinks last night was fun. They moved here during Covid and use their house here as a base and travel months at a time. They have a vehicle so made plans to go to the brewery that is more than a walk away.

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • I started the morning with my Emmaus Group.
    • After several days of rain, it is starting to dry up.
    • Terrible news from Nashville yesterday. What goes through these people's minds?
    • I imagine Skip's lost post was full of sage wisdom.
    • Hi to Mary and Kelly!

    Hello!

Blooming trees sure are a sign of spring. No such activity here.

Ds2 called, the airbnb in TX they were in was the pits. Old. Dirty and unkept. Nothing like photos. And even had a baby snake inside that ds2 got out with a broom lol. The girls were none too happy. The owners live in a mobile home on-site and seem to think they can come and go through the rental whenever. And 2 main doors don't even Lock! WTH? So they got directly with airbnb for a full refund and moved out. To a gorgeous lake home retreat for $200/night, typically $500, but got this last minute check in deal. From the photos they sent, I'm ready to fly down and enjoy the place as well! Glad they got moved asap! With that, they are extending their stay 2 extra days. Its that Nice! Maddie likely misses home. But she seems fine here.

Prayers for the Nashville school and community.

Don't forget to move that cats litter box to that room too Steph, should you lock it in. I'm sure you Know that! If there's one thing I dislike about cats, if some get mad, they'll pee on whatever wherever!

Hope Lou is getting answers. Prayers continue for your Mom

Never heard of Hawthorne tree, looked it up:

You may find many single hawthorns on farmland. Farmers sometimes won’t cut them down.

They believe it is bad luck to do this. These trees were under the protection of fairies and, if the ‘fairy tree’ was killed, the fairy might seek revenge.
    Who knew lol

    Have a great day BBB
