Good morning gentlemen.
I suspect several of you are having busy Mondays already. Lots of stuff to get done, here, but less stressful than the working world.
More unusually cool weather, here. It's 33 degrees, this morning, with showers of mixed rain and snow. The cherry trees are blooming, but it feels like February. My son told me that Timberline Lodge, on Mount Hood, in Oregon, got 48 inches of snow in this last storm. Northwest skiers are ecstatic. Northwest hikers are less pleased.0 -
Good Morning
The abundance of snow has some ski resorts staying open thru spring. I saw a picture yesterday of a ski resort in So Cal where the snow almost came up to the top of the ski lift. It will be tricky if the thaw happens to fast. I remember years we where living in So Cal when the floods came down the canyons to the beach at Laguna.
I woke up at 3:30 due to discomfort and couldn't get back to sleep. But I decided to go ahead with my plan to eliminate the last bit of Percocet from my daily meds and just rely on the Tylenol ER and continued obscene amounts of ibuprofen. I was able to do some of my exercises yesterday without freaking out my lower back and will continue to do so today and see how it goes. I still need to work on my taxes which went on hold when my back went wonky.0 -
Still winter in the mtns, I suppose. Mt. Washington NH weather yesterday was 8º with 80 mph winds... glad sun is shining here and 40's today.
Will try some serious decluttering and cleaning this week to look presentable for Easter. Spent Saturday making homemade tool organizers of stiff cardboard and leather, for my random piano tools that get thrown in a bag. Sort of decluttering--it will at least make things faster when I work on pianos.
I get heat exhaustion easily when it's hot in summer and I'm climbing mountain trails, so I am cautious, but this is the first time to happen in March.
Bob, skywalk sounds awesome.
Bill, a careful balance of PT and using knee while not aggravating back as meds taper back. Hoping they can find better ways to attend to back than in past....
Will try to attend the various holy week services this year. Church was more packed than I've seen it in a long while this Palm Sunday. Went for a cold, windy walk around historic Barre town common yesterday.
Have a great day.0 -
Good morning!
So far, it has been quiet at work. I like that. Beginning another month end. I'm glad that the year is closed, but I still have to close January, February, and now March.
Small amount of drama at work this morning, but not too bad. The bigger problem is how to get production going again.
I need to find a way to not stress eat.
I've been to Vancouver once. Beautiful country! Beautiful city!
Praying for Bill and the rest of you guys with aches and pains.
Have a great rest of your day!0 -
Good Afternoon,
Cool wet day in Georgia, will not make it out of 60's today, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 80's
Yoga class this morning, was expecting a small class since most schools are out this week; did not happen, do not know where will put everyone when they get back from vacation and medical procedures.
Nothing else planned for today.0
