Pour yourself a mug of your favorite morning brew. Pull up a chair and join us for our morning roll call here on the BBB.

    G"Morning~

#MotherTucker is funny! He's definitely not a fan of birds and squirrels. It took him forever to get through morning routine. 😂😂😂

Lou - hope you had a good travel day!

Meeting old boss for HH today following the funeral last week. Looking forward to seeing him and hugging his neck. He truly was one of the greatest men I've ever worked for and one of my best friends too. RARE combination!

Finalized estimate for house painting; barn doors; bar build out; shiplap; painting; ceiling fan installs. Oi. High number but needs to be done. Anxious to get going on everything!

Do we get to see final flooring project for rest of the Moody Mansion?

    70s today; 80s tomorrow. WOWZA!

    Cheers,
    skipper

    Mornin' BBB.

I've been delinquent. Busy with work and play. Drove up to Maine and back this weekend for field trial club meeting. Got in a little fly fishing on way home.
DW and I go vegetarian at least one day a week. We like goat cheese in our salad too much to go full vegan. I could probably go mostly lacto/ovo. Last week we did have a very tasty and satisfying vegan lasagna.
Glad black beauty is back to being speckle free.
Hope the shop finally got the tire fixed.
    Safe travels, Lou.

    Good morning BBB friends.

I could live without meat, I think, but not without eggs and cheese. On the other hand, I don't see any reason to do so. Not for me.

I remember all the finish decisions when building a house, Skip. I am sure you'll demand things be just as you want them. When we built our house, we cut corners out of sticker shock - and have regretted some of those decisions ever since.

More chilly, damp weather out here. No relief in sight. Darn it all.

    Morning BBB

Up earlier than usual to get the dog walked then we are heading out for a hike. It’s going to be in the 90’s today so hope to be home around 1.

Headed to a waterfall but it’s the dry season so won’t be flowing but should still be a good hike. Then maybe pool time this afternoon

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • Got up earlier than I would have liked to start the morning with my Emmaus Reunion group.
    • It is a misty, cool morning here but supposed heading to clear and 78°.
    • Lee, if you become a vegan, you still make the delicious stew for me, won't you?
    • You got drywall yet, Skip?

    Good morning.

Yesterday was a rough day. Today will probably be as well. The nursing home that mom is at is not at all what it used to be when she worked there. Of course, staffing is a real challenge everywhere, but it's not usually plainly visible to lay people like it was to us.

Did pick up this little beauty last night though.

    Good Afternoon,
Dealing with assisted living is never fun and no matter how nice is a place I would want to be.
I went vegan for 3 months to try and get cholesterol down, it went up; have no desire to give up animals now.
I have a friend who does construction around Washington DC, he gets ridiculous prices for his work, take what he charged down here and multiplies by six.
It has now made it up to 61, still no sun but forecast keeps calling for 80 here.

So sorry Lou. I hope you'll find a better option for Mom.

Flash back: Wild Turkey bottle,17yrs old drinking it in a garage with other kids. Uggh. Sick as a dog thereafter . None for me since.

Speaking of dogs its my Maddie doodle granddogs 6th birthday!

I have my first real hoa challenge denying a fence request. Board voted no. We have no fences allowed here and they won't start now. Homeowner is angry. Has a big strong pittie and he
    wants a fence. Sigh.

We are watching the movie 80 for Brady. Its kinda of funny. Parts any way. For a Tuesday night anyway...

Bad weather coming in here over night rain. winds etc.

Ds1 walked over to the MLB Nationals DC game tonite. Best part of living where he does he says.

    Be well BBB

    Why no fence?
We allow for one style fence for consistency to overcome challenges of "any type/size/condition"
