Happy Easter to all.
Clear and quite cold at sunrise. Church this morning then to brunch with some of the family. DS the short order cook is presiding.
Have a wonderful day...0 -
Heading to NYC for Easter brunch with DS#2. Walking across the Brooklyn Bridge from Manhattan side to get to restaurant.
Steve, I have the utmost sympathy for your situation, and I agree that getting out of there is probably a smart move. It sounds like the president is not trustworthy. My situation is a bit different. I am pulling in the majority of the business for the practice (more than the other two doctors combined), yet I am also putting out all the fires created by the other doctors, plus dealing with corporate BS. Since I am no longer the owner of the practice, I am not benefiting from all the fire fighting. The only benefit is the satisfaction of being a team player. This has got to change.

Lots of demands for veterinarians in the PacNW now too.
Hope things improve for Steve even though that may mean a change of jobs.
Starting out to be a very wet Easter Day here. Off with my DD, DSIL, and grandson for Easter Brunch in a nice homey pace on the edge of the countryside. More PSA testing tomorrow so no bike ride today. Not sure if bike riding makes such a big difference in PSA testing but it seems that in general "all" the urology practices discourage sex and also bike riding for typically 48 hours to get a somewhat more meaningful reading.
The Easter Brunch should be good.
Stay safe all Sending prayers for all in pain.0 -
Good morning, gentlemen, and a happy Easter to all.
Fun getting up at 6 and turning on the Masters'. Usually only get to do that during the Open Championship. But then, the players are dressed like they are in Scotland.
Both Rita and I seem to be suffering some holdover cold symptoms. I'm supposed to be cooking family supper this afternoon. We'll leave it up to the guests whether they want to risk exposure to us.
My last few years of work were similar to your current experience, Lee. My supervisor got to take credit for my achievements, while his boss leaned on me to do both jobs. It got very frustrating and led to my retiring at the earliest possible time.0 -
Good Morning and Easter Blessings to each of you
My leg flared/swelled up yesterday so yesterday involved a lot of rest. But it seems back to "normal" today so I should be able to exercise. I was up again around 4:30. But it meant I was able to join the livestream from the Northumbria Community of which I am a part and a wonderful time of prayer and worship in my little prayer cell here in the corner of our living room. I am still on the bench as far as our easter gathering goes. No lamb for poor old Bill. I have been assigned a skillet chicken pot pie. I will have to plot how I will overthrow the usurpers of my kitchen and regain my rightful place in the future. It is good to have a purpose in life. I look forward, as always to having the 4 of us gather around the table. Once we move this will be a rarity.0 -
Happy Easter,
Sun is up and shining brightly, but wind is blowing hard,
Still 40's now but should go into 60's sone time this afternoon.
Family was all together Friday night, quiet day here but I have to unload balance of mulch from my car.
Glad all are somewhat better
Prayers for low PSA tomorrow, Bob,
Bill, it never hurts to allow others to wait on you sometimes; allow them some satisfaction also.
Prayers continue with you Steve,

Good afternoon.
Quiet day at our house. I cooked an Easter lunch, and then took a long nap. I just plan to relax this evening before getting back in it next week. I am WAY more relaxed now that the decision has been made. It may take a short time, or it may take a longer time, but I will look for a new position and I will still do what I can where I am presently employed.
Prayers for all of you that have various aches and pains. Lee, holding you in special prayer for your work.
Have a great rest of your day!0
