Hope everyone had a nice Easter.
Good to see DS#2. Working 80-100 hours a week as a new meat in a big law firm. He had a work conference call after our brunch to collaborate on a case.
I had avocado toast with smoked salmon for brunch. Wishing I had lamb too, Bill.
My walk to and fro across the Brooklyn Bridge went pretty well, thankfully bikes are no longer allowed where pedestrians walk, but now the social media photo and video ops clog the flow. It was a bit like an obstacle course. A few joggers/runners tried to push through with looks of exasperation. Legs stiffened up on the ride home.
Finally got my pellet grill/smoker fixed (auger jammed from wet pellets) with the extended light and warmness that the Easter afternoon afforded.
Good to see Lefty elevate to placing second at the Masters. Sad to see how Woods was hobbling in the previous round, so not surprised he pulled out of yesterday's final round even though he made the cut. Funny how I am pulling for the old timers, LOL.
Thanks for the prayers, Steve. I need 'em!
Good luck on the PSA numbers today, Bob. DBIL is having to deal with some red flags in his PSA numbers as well.

    Be OP ;-)

    Morning...

Nice day yesterday--after church, brunch at DS's, then wiffleball, then a game of Farkle (dice game) and a walk around the old neighborhood hills. We later ricocheted between the Celtics/ Red Sox/ Masters as DS clutched the TV remote...

BAck to laundry and grocery shopping and more decluttering around here.

Best of luck to the job-seekers, pain and joint sufferers, and especially for good PSA tests all around.

    Have a good day ...

    Good morning gentlemen.

We had a very nice Easter. My cold improved enough that I could hit the high notes when the choir sang at church. I watched some golf and baseball while cooking our supper, and we had a wonderful visit with the younger wing of the family. Best of all, since I did all the cooking, Rita did all the cleaning up after everyone went home.

More cool wet weather all this week. We should be in the 60s and won't get out of the 40s today. Our white flowering cherry tree is in full bloom, and instead of spectacular it just looks forlorn. Anyway, Monday is Rita's errand day, and I am the chauffer.

    Good morning!

Back to work today, but I notice a big difference! Since I made the decision to leave I feel a lot more relaxed. I'll probably be more productive!

We had a restful holiday yesterday. Easter is a very difficult holiday for us. I ended up both cooking the meal yesterday, and doing the cleanup. I'm OK with that.

Dave, I glad that you were able to sing.

    Have a great day!

    Good Morning

Dave, I am glad the throat came around in time for Easter service.

We had a quiet day but my eldest came over and we had a simple but nice dinner in the evening. I managed to miss the early game time for the Warriors. My back didn't hold up to well so I will be trying to coax it into calming back down. I didn't do much yesterday except make the pot pie. But that was apparently too much. I hope to push through on taxes today to have a few days to review just in case.
