Good morning gentlemen.
Couldn't sleep, so I was up an 4:30. It might be a long day.
I find myself slipping back into a funk, like I went through last fall. There is no reason for it, I just feel down. I wonder if there isn't some physical reason for these mood swings, a bio-chemical imbalance or something. Maybe I just need to get out into a forest.

Good morning!
I had a job interview that went well yesterday. That would be a sweet job! I had an HR screening. I hope to be passed to the CFO for a final interview. I have another interview tomorrow. I don't know much about that position.
High drama continues at work. I'm so tired of it. The president said that he would take care of it. He said that he would fire both of them so that nobody wins. He didn't talk with anybody. We had an hourly person get sick in the men's room. I told his supervisor that if he is sick he should go home. The supervisor came in and told me that the plant manager said that if he went home, he'd be fired. I told the supervisor that nobody would be fired today. I found out that the retaliation was that ZERO 12 volt solar units were made yesterday. We are at less that 25% of last year's production. We are imploding so very fast. I don't know if I can get out of here fast enough.
Dave, holding you in prayer for your depression. I imagine that being out in the woods will help. Have you considered meditation? Perhaps look at the Calm app? -- The calm app can be used on phone or computer. There is a free version. It is guided meditation and I have found it helpful in the past.
Bill, sounds like you are turning a positive corner. I pray that continues for you!
Have a great day!

Good Morning,
Emmaus breakfast this morning, I took my coffee and did not eat. Yesterday after yoga class met some friends and we road about 80 miles and had lunch then took a long ride back.
Finally got prescription filled for rheumatoid arthritis, finding getting some drugs a major pain in posterior.
Dave, generally when in a funk if I stop and think either I am not getting enough exercise or something is in my head/mind that is affecting me, once I've identified it, I'm fine.
Steve prayers continue hoping work improves or you find a company that appreciates your skills.
Bill, hope back has eased up.
Bob, hope PSA comes back low.
Hope Lee is finally getting a day off to enjoy as he wants.
Mike, waiting to hear if thump is taken care of.0 -
Good Morning
Steve, glad to here you had a good interview. Between the hands off owner and the do nothing President, the company likely will go under soon, I suspect. A lot of wages for only 25% of normal production. I will keep praying for a smooth transition to this last stage of your career.
Dave, I was up at 4:30. I didn't see you? I was the bearded guy hobbling around with morning stiffness in his knee and back looking less than thrilled as he headed downstairs. I am sorry to hear of your funk. I remember the year Rita and you tracked your hikes for the year. Perhaps figuring our a plan so you can get a mix of short and long treks in more regularly? Mindfulness/meditation is a good tool to learn.
The surgeon feels I need to return to PT for a bit longer to ensure I hit the goals. I have a small amount of flex to regain and my cane free walking is not terribly smooth. He says he has seen too many patients who finish PT and then begin to back off on the workouts and fail to proceed. The fact I work hard at my rehab didn't factor in. The good news he agrees it should include a back focus since that is my biggest risk factor for moving forward. Turbo Tax has screwed up my return taxing all of Heather's HSA contribution in her final year of elgibilty as if I had made them. I originally input it under my name and then corrected it to Heather's I may just open a new return and re-input everything today. At least all the info is organized and together.0 -
Bill, that sounds like good news on PT. It's work, but will help the knee and maybe benefit the back in new ways. Praying for good outcomes...
The glue & screw on the piano bridge seems to have worked. There's maybe a slight lingering difference between the two bad notes and the neighboring ones, but barely noticeable. I just used a PVC-E glue, like a craft glue. Piano techs use it for gluing wood to felt and small wood pieces together. Probably should have used some carpenter's glue, and they still use hot hide glue in making & repairing pianos. Hopefully the PVC-E will hold. Some recommend epoxy to make a more solid connection with the soundboard. I think the thunk is behind me now.
Steve, Hope you get out of there soon before the place goes bankrupt or there's a riot and they cart everyone off... Your job prospects sound promising.
Dave, I need to get out and hike, myself. I'm kinda stuck in neutral, unable to plow through the clutter, eating non-stop, ughhh.0
