Rise and shine.
Another piano class today. I think I'm going to have to scale back on these. Now our teacher is trying to sell us on yet a third class, possibly on another day, to learn how to write musical scores on the computer.
Was planning on a group canoe trip in NH Saturday but heard last night one of my GKs is having first communion; too special an event to pass up, and I'm sure the river will still be there other day.
DS is swim-racing on Lake George in August and wants to camp in the Adirondacks with me. He has a site on a brook through "Hip-Camp", sort of a bed-and-breakfast for campers without the bed or breakfast. Looking forward to it.
Time for coffee...0 -
Bill, I have a friend who was a carpenter until he wrecked his back taking up a floor. Be careful there...

Mornin' gents.

Good morning gentlemen.
It was great to get on a trail, yesterday. I got an early start to beat the crowds on a very popular trail up to a nice little lake. The round trip was 7.4 miles, with 1,640 feet of climbing.
Waiting around this morning, for another painting contractor. This one was supposed to confirm the appointment, but I haven't heard from him. If he doesn't show up, that will eliminate one contender, for sure.

Good Morning,
Contractors are not the most reliable people, most over promise and under deliver. Not always their fault but they should communicate to folks.
Sounds like good hike.
Mike, sounds as teacher is trying to support self. Family is always most important.
Bill, be careful with back and knees.
Lee, hope you have a day off today to enjoy what you want to do.
Praying you get a better job Steve that you will enjoy.
Wet cool day here.0 -
Good Morning
I am glad you got out for a hike, Dave. Non responsive contractors tend not to ever be my contractor
Still praying for a great job for Steve.
Back issues are responding to my home therapy. No pain or muscle relaxers yesterday. But I woke up around 3:30 pretty stiff and wasn't able to get back to sleep. I have PT & shopping this afternoon but am finally loosening up. I have no intention of ripping up the entire floor. I did that once which is more than enough. But I am taking up 3sqft in front of the dishwasher. I think I will use the circular saw and adjust the blade since it is a thick floor over a thick cork underlayer. Should limit how much prybar effort is involved.0
