    April showers. Forecast says rain every day this week. 42º now. Spring? Meh!

    Arrived late for DGD's 1st communion, ran into traffic on pike, and pastor was already half through his sermon. Nice pictures and out to dinner afterwards. A nice time, although restaurant so noisy couldn't hear anyone's conversation. The family & I plan on camping together this summer. In the church I said a prayer for other DD's MIL who had entire colon removed three days ago and recovering in hospital. Poor lady has been going through a health mine-field last 20 years.

    Other DS & I rode home together from the restaurant. He recently broke up with GF and moved into a depressing basement; we had some good conversation in the car.

    Not sure what I'm doing today, but tracking my food is on the list. Large chicken parm & linguini yesterday was a reset moment...

    We hit 80 degrees, yesterday. Today will be overcast and a high of 57. So it goes.

    Church this morning, then need to mow the lawn.

    Good Morning

    Gray day ahead as we head toward some dampness next week. Very active day yesterday, inventorying and trying to reorganize the kitchen boxes that were delivered. Nice to now those old accounting skills would pay off in retirement. I always hated doing inventory. Pretty stiff by the evening and had to take a pill but we got it done. And we have officially started packing up the kitchen. I am feeling ok this morning so life is good. Today I have only one mission which is to get some of the flooring up. Chiseling made some progress but not much. I may need a bigger chisel or perhaps and idea of what I am doing. Wrapped up my first week on Noom with a 8.2lb loss. Nothing like the first week of weight loss. It helps to be doing this at the same time as Heather.
