This was our LAST WEEK?!?! I can hardly believe it!!

On Tuesday I will make a chart of the results you all post this week, highlighting both the weekly winner (woo!) and the current cumulative winner (woo woo! weight loss is long term, y'all) I will post the charts in this forum.

Please use the following as a template to report your week:

    So I have been integrating your feedback for the next challenge. Azmiz suggested a personal challenge (and BrainOnAStick suggested an alliterative name for it). Karen_golfs suggested the Wednesday check in and to keep the no-drop policy. BrainOnAStick suggested points for identifying the self-care items. I have integrated these into the next challenge. Honestly I fear the reporting is a bit cumbersome, but honestly, with the exception of the Challenger's choice, we were all mostly doing this anyway! Plus I have included a disclaimer that participants don't need to participate in every part of the reporting.

    So. Any last minute changes? This is what I have so far:



    Healthy holistic health 2 (HHH2) challenge

    This challenge starts Wednesday September 11, ending Wednesday November 20th (the day before Thanksgiving) for a total of 10 weeks. Here is link to the directions and point information: TBA

    YOU WILL NOT BE DROPPED so long as you continue to report in. Holistic health is a long term challenge, so while we will have an official winner in the end, getting back on that horse after a rough week is incredibly important! For me, anyway, I need to have opportunity to be able to wax and wain in the short term to be healthy long term.

    In the same spirit, feel free to TAILOR TO YOUR NEEDS. Maybe you don't want to participate in the challenger's choice or maybe the self care reporting feels cumbersome and impedes on your wellness; that's ok! You can still participate in the challenge! You will be able to see your own weekly points and can compete against yourself rather than others. That sounds healthy to me!

    Remember to post on Wednesday so that I can enter you to compete for the coveted weekly winner award. ;) On Thursday I will make a chart of the results you all post this week, highlighting both the Weekly Wednesday Winner (WWW!) and the Current Cumulative Conquerer (CCC!; wellness is long term, y'all). I will post the charts in this forum.

    We are using an honor system (pftt - I'm not checking in on you...you are the one trying to be healthier, right?).

    2 days with 2 different friends, 2 days of Blues Festival with husband and oldest son, lunch with a dear friend, dinner out twice with husband, long walk followed by a wonderful breakfast (shrimp omelet!!!)

    CONGRATS, MOTHEROFBRIDETOBE! It was handy for me...I never had to change that orange highlight from week to week on the cumulative winner - it was always you!! :)

    In case you are interested, I will be running another challenge that will be slightly tweaked from this one (check the second post for more information on this - I am making the excel file with formulas tonight, so no more changes!) starting next Wednesday. I will contact each person who participated directly (because I'm nice like that). But be sure to try and convince some of your MFP friends to consider doing the next round so we can have even more support!
