Doc, whats up? Hows #Babe? We've not heard antics for awhile! #MotherTucker is getting more and more persnickety on eating times. Alas, (despite DW yelling at me) - I put it down same time and if he doesn't eat it, I pull it.

I was thinking about giving an update on the girls this morning, Skip, you must have been using telepathy. We had a mock trial yesterday at the grounds where we will be having our trial on in 3 weeks, and the girls did quite well. Lucy got the run a brace with her dad, Keller. It was fun.
Lucy turned 2 last week, so I sedated her and got hip and elbow xrays done for certification with the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA). The hips will probably grade good to excellent, and the elbows are normal. I will submit them this week.
Did you ever do the DNA thing for Tucker? Some dog breeds are known to eat only when they are hungry and sometimes that isn't even every day. I feel, even though these type of dogs will generally maintain a healthy weight when free fed (food down all the time), that the act of feeding meals is just good maintenance training or just keeping a schedule. Dogs like being on a schedule, it calms them.
I thought of Kelly and her party when watching an episode of Lucky Hank with DW last night. Bob Odenkirk from Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul stars in it and his character and his wife had a dinner party that totally went awkward and ended with much distress and a man sobbing in tears. Hope Kelly's party went better than that.
I have to get serious about planting my wee veggie garden soon.

Good morning and Happy 50th to Lou!!
May 1 and the rain is turning to sleet and snow in areas here. Gardening around here seems on hold at least for another couple weeks.
Baby Laurens baptism, along with the babies of 4 other families was nice. She is really doing well. And had her first week in daycare... Hard on Mom to go back to work.
My step-granddaughter Angel will celebrate her sweet 16 this coming weekend. And DH has a birthday on the 6th.
I'm already up and cooking the ole weight watchers vegetable cabbage soup recipe. My remote Office will open soon. Dreaded Mondays ugghh. Weekends go too fast.

Dental checkups and cleaning this morning, then have yet another contractor coming over to add to a bid. We have found a lot of rotting trim that needs to be repaired/replaced before the house is painting. That is going to add a lot to the final bill, but that's part of owning a home.
Golden retrievers can easily get overweight, I am told. We keep an eye on Sassy. She doesn't eat much some days; scarfs it down on others. Our previous golden ate everything you gave her within minutes of putting the bowl down. Individual personalities.0 -

Had a fun day at Centro yesterday. Today a short hike then home to meet the contractor. He couldn’t finish installing the toilet on Saturday before the time they have to be out of the neighborhood so has to come back. We have been using the upstairs bathroom. Not ideal but at least there was a backup.
I will miss the weather here. 50-55 overnight and 75-90 and mostly sunny everyday with cooler breezes off the water. But lots of air pollution smoke and dust.
Our doggy doesn’t like to eat his morning kibble if we get up before 8. He eats the night time blow in seconds. We don’t force him. My theory is he will eat if hungry ( gets lots of treats from neighbors on our walks…he knows exactly which houses have treat bowls)

I went and hit balls for a while after getting my free Starbucks coffee. I'll be heading out to Jimmy John's to get my free sandwich in a bit and then cap the evening with a free Grand Slam at Denny's.
