    Good morning!

I'm still hoping to hear on that job today. I don't know what the delay is. I also have two more possibilities if that one does fall through.

Termite guy at the house this morning. We moved a lot of crap yesterday. I have five large trash bags in the car to put in the work dumpster today.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

Good luck on the job front, Steve. Hope you hear something today.

I'm going to call one of the contractors bidding on renovations for our house, to see if there are some areas where we can cut costs. It would still be a lot of money, but not quite as painful.

Rita has a doctor appointment on post today, so I am playing chauffer. It will be raining this afternoon, anyway.

Moles, voles and termites. Oh my! That gaspipe thing sounds like a Chevy Chase movie or something. LOL. Good luck with the vermin and hope you hear on the job quick, Steve.

Birthday party was nice yesterday. Dozen or more other 3 year olds there, plus some of my grandkids and friends of their family. Complete with a bouncy house. He loves the kazoo I bought him. Gorgous 80º day with all the spring flowers in bloom. Got to hang out in the yard afterwards with DS and catch up on a few things. His wife wants a piano, which I can help them find free, online, and we can move with the equipment I have, if not too big, and tune when it gets there.

Can't believe how expensive house painting has gotten. We bought our house for $35,500--back in 1981, of course.

Bill, you made some special memories for DW. Glad you got to walk that far; beginnings of good progress. Keep on doing what you're doing there.

    Good Morning

Despite, the angry back and tummy, we had an amazing final day on the coast. The skies cleared and the sun came out. Our final breakfast at our favorite place was a fitting good bye to Cambria & the Central Coast. We drove up and picked up our box of wine from Hearst Ranch and I was able to walk on the beach with Heather for 15-20 minutes using a cane to support my back. I am glad we were able to have our good-bye. The drive home was uneventful except for some unexpected traffic. We split the driving since my back only lasted a couple of hours before the squirming became dangerous. Today I will still try to track down our missing kitchen cabinet and engage with the contractor about them building the box and hopefully not half to reschedule. Demo is only 2 1/2 weeks away. WI for the week finds a couple more pounds gone as well.

Steve, still praying and believing the right job is close to happening. I hope the father and son get on the same page and reach out.

Oh Mike I am truly saddened to hear about the family in Bangor Maine and the truly tragic death in the family. Glad to hear ya had a good time in the Cambria area of the Calif. Coast.
Best of luck with the job offers Steve!!
No kidding about house painting costs. Amazing what that stuff costs now.
The skin site of my bone marrow biopsy healed up without an incident. Probably be awhile for the bone to heal ion that left upper hip bone where they took a sample of marrow. Not really sure of the value of doing it. From what I could read in the path report it seems pretty much the same as before.
Enjoyed my bike rides of late.
