Fingers crossed, Steve.
Sounds like a really nice trip, Bill, sans the drive home. Congrats on the loss!
Having some well trouble. Guy who installed new pump 6 yrs ago is telling us our well is low, if that is true we may need a new well drilled or re-crack the original. I am not convinced since our well has always been VERY dependable, even in the driest of summers. I think it is the pump set up. Going to get a second opinion.
Is there a final decision on getting house painted?

Bible study this morning...
Nice weather is inspiring me to get on the bike once again. I bought a nice bike rack last year, to just put the bike on and off the roof whenever the mood hits, so I gotta use it. Bill's rides remind me of the fun in it.
Haze in our sky, according to weather guy, is from wildfires in Alberta or Saskatchewan. Not a health problem because 30,000 feet up, they say.

Good morning gentlemen.
Not quite to the decision point on contractors. I have one more guy coming over to look at repairs and make a bid on those. I'll be very glad when this is all over. I was never meant to be a contracting officer.
My son is after me to get my bike out, too. I haven't ridden in several years. Maybe I should. I had no trouble at all keeping weight off, when I was riding 20 to 30 miles four days a week. I was never the rider Bob is, though.

Good Morning,
Hoping Steve is able to nail down job he will totally enjoy,
Sun is shining and mid 70's going up to mid 80's, summer has arrived, predicting 90's next week.
Without a ground shift do not see how drilled well will suddenly go down unless a good many have tapped into table at once, not likely.
Bob's bike riding has always inspired me.
Dealing with contractors has always been a pain, after committing with one then getting them to show up regularly on time till job is finished is another chore. No matter how bad a story they have do not pay till complete.0 -
Good Morning
I am hoping to be back on my bike. Right now I am focusing on regular walking in my rehab. It feels good to be out and about. I finally was able to get someone who would help me resolve my missing cabinet which was only available for shipping in large orders. Turns out one cabinet doesn't meet the shipping requirements of that warehouse, but two do. So two will be here on Friday, shipping is waived and I can return the extra one to the local warehouse for credit. So back on schedule till I get an email from the HOA advising me they have rescheduled the association's pavement reseal/repaint 2 day project to start right after my demo phase. Fun times!0 -
I am with you Lee about getting a second opinion on the well and pump situation.
Oh my guys. Biking outside is great, especially in some sort of wildlife area or trails. So far I have ridden 112 days out of a possible 129 days this year and enjoyed almost every minute of with hummingbirds, bald eagles, great blue herons, great white egrets, ducklings, goslings, song birds and sooooooo much more. Walking or biking give you so much more to enjoy because of the pace. I do ride at a slower pace and stop to view wildlife. 138,000 miles as an adult and counting. hmmmm guess that does make me a biker/bikie of sorts.
Yup contractors are a pain and everything is so expensive now.0
