    Mornin' gents.

    On pins and needles, Steve.
Called in sick for jury duty since it wasn't canceled last night, so I can dog train and get stuff done today. Rescheduled for Dec 21st, 2023. Ha!

    Be OP ;-)

    Good morning, gentlemen.

May this be the day, Steve.

I was supposed to have my annual glaucoma doctor appointment this morning, but they left a message yesterday that it was canceled and rescheduled for next week ... when we are out of town. That's my first call this morning. Then I need to get a few details ironed out with painting/repair contractor we have chosen, before telling the rest thanks but no thanks.

Going to be a beautiful day, today: 75 and sunny. There is a heat watch for this weekend, though, with highs around 90. Weather is getting stranger every year.

    Good Morning

Praying for a decision, Steve, and peace over you and Connie

I was out 5 hours yesterday running errands. It has been a while since I could do that. I hit my step goal without getting my walk in. My back was not too cooperative but I was able to work around it. I imagine I will be on regular doses of Tylenol ER for a while until I can get some work done on it. Today is some cooking. 10 can chili and some goulash for the freezer so we can defrost and microwave some while we are completely without the kitchen in 10 days. Working my way through cabinets, trying to pack up as much stuff for moving and what we will use till we move. I will get out to water containers before this weekends heat. I need to photograph them so I can offer them up to people to come and get them.

Yup sorry about your drama Steve. Sheesh.
Yes 138,000 miles is more than 1/2 way to the moon. I did have a 1/2 way to the moon party to celebrate. I remember the most rolling over my bike odometer from 99,999 miles back to all zeroes again like the old car odometers did. I didn't actually use the same odometer for 100,000 miles but set it to the correct total mileage when I got a newer odometer/bike computer. I have photos of it being 99,999 miles and then all zeroes. Ironically it was 99,999 at the foot of the hill for Mt Angel Abbey where you would start the 14 stations of the cross that line the steeply uphill climbing entrance road to the Abbey itself. Not planned but turned out that way.
I wanted to be on a jury a few years back but was cut by the lawyers in the final cut. Now I probably wouldn't go and don't have to if over 70 years of age.
Hang in there Bill! Getting older isn't for the faint of heart!!
