Well, the well guy checked our well's fill rate and it was only 1/2 per minute. Not good. We are probably looking at redrilling or just drilling a second well and connecting the two. Hydrofracking, although least expensive, would be a temporary fix and probably not give us the best fill rate.
    Congratulations again, Steve. Great news.
Hit the 80's at Yankee Stadium yesterday and no breeze. We were a little warm. 3 weeks ago we froze.
The Yanks made a come back win and Judge hit two homers. Pretty sweet.
Driving back in for Mother's Day brunch with DW's sister and niece. DS#2 will be there too, thankfully.

    Be OP ;-)

Was always a Yankee fan as a kid, had cards for Mantle, Berra, Whitey Ford.

Never dealt with a well; DD has one, ran dry a few times during last summer's extended drought.

Bill, I can't imagine being as busy and active as you are, on top of the physical challenges you're dealing with.

Might head over to DS's to work on his piano today after church. An old beast that sounds jarring, I think the hammers need filing and the action parts need adjustment, new things for me to learn on, but if I mess up it couldn't make it any worse. Will also be helping a guy from church move a piano with my homemade equipment sometime this week.

Cooled way down here, 40º this morning after 80's last few days. I like spring.

DGS got the seeyalater from the Giants, but is now in Pittsburg at the Steelers' minicamp for a few days.

Finally nailed down a date for camping with some of the kids and GKs this summer. Looking forward to that.

Tracked everything I ate yesterday; I feel like I'm starting to get a grip on things, heading in the right direction.

    Good morning!

I'm going to try to grill steaks this evening on the Traeger. We are supposed to get storms rolling in this afternoon about 4:00. I am considering cooking the steaks early and warming them up, but that does not sound good to me. I don't want to cook inside on the stove, but I can do that if I need to.

I am just feeling so relaxed right now. I know the right decision was to leave that job. I'm hoping the transition goes well, but I can always walk away if it does not.

I finally mowed yesterday. It had been two weeks and the grass was way too tall. I have all my housekeeping chores to do today.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

Growing up I hated the Yankees with a white-hot passion. It was almost genetic, as my family came from St. Louis. I have mellowed with age. Sounds like a fun day at the park, Lee. Good sports day for me, yesterday, as the Kraken forced a game seven, Mariners blanked the Tigers, Sounders scored in the 87th minute to win. Fun times watching grandkids' games too.

Heat advisory for us, today, with a forecast of 94 degrees. We're having a big family picnic, after church. It will be at a park on Puget Sound, With the weather, I expect a massive crowd. We'll see how it goes.

Go hug the moms in your life.

    Good Morning

I too grew up a total Yankee Fan. When the Giants left my father was all in on the Yankees, 'cause the dodgers were, well you know...dodgers. Memories upon memories. My room was a shrine. I was a big Mel Stottlemyre fan after he hit an inside the park homerun. He had the misfortune to come up in '64 just in time to get a front row seat for the great decline.

My back was unhappy yesterday, we did quite a bit of packing up of the kitchen. After we moved them into the living room out of the way. I was done. Heather asked to celebrate Mother's day yesterday at the Movies. We saw Guardians of the Galaxy at the Pub Cinema since she was sure the boy's wouldn't want to see "Book Club". Such a Mom, she just wanted to sit between them. We went out for burgers afterward. Today my son is making her a brunch. Then we can finish packing the kitchen. I think the back is happy enough I can take a load over to storage to get it out of the way. Heat continues. Mid 80's feels hot right now.

I was a Brooklyn Dodger fan as a young kid, then they moved out to LA and we lived close by. Sounds like a fun game Lee.
Good luck Steve with the steaks on the Traegar.
Hot here like it is with Dave in the 90s. Luved the NHL west win by the Kraken. NICE
    stay cool.
Maybe t-storm tomorrow PM??? right now 40% or less chance and they would be spotty.

Hope all spouses have a nice Mother's Day, including ex's.
    Been Churched and Schooled,
Took DW, DMIL, DD, and DGS's to supper last night.
Breakfast for DW and DMIL this morning.
Will fix lunch for DW and DMIL in a few minutes, I had planned on pressure washing this afternoon but DW said not on sabbath, so I'll finish one day this week.
