Graduation on football field went from a light drizzle to a downpour as the honorary keynote speaker droned on and on and on... We were all drowned rats when DD finally got her diploma, but she really appreciated that EX and I came to see her get her masters.
Rain stopped overnight and just damp and cloudy now. Church then piano move. Might be complicated by a saturated lawn we'll have to drive a pickup over, or roll the piano and dolly across on plywood strips. Hopefully it will go okay.
Tracking fell apart after Popeye's chicken sandwich on the ride home yesterday. Another reset, another week begins.0 -

Soggy graduation will make a great memory.
Anyway, made it home from Las Vegas with more money than I had when I flew down. That has only happened once before, in the dozen or so trips we have made. We got home at midnight, but I got up at 6. Just couldn't sleep. I actually dreamed about picking up Sassy. Thinking of taking her for a hike after picking her up, then giving her a bath when we get home. She might be happier just getting to her familiar surroundings.

Welcome home Dave. I hope you and Sassy got out for someone on one time on a trail.
The piriformis injection has really helped. I am walking normally again. Pain in my new knee is receding now that I am walking properly. Going upstairs is less of an adventure. Yesterday we found out the remodel is pushed back a couple days. But we pushed ahead but at a slower pace. We rented a UHaul van and took some our kitchen table, chairs and a few things over to storage with the pile of boxes I packed this past week. I am doing well enough that today we will rent a small chain saw and I will cut up the birch tree top the came down in the storms this winter so the pieces can go into green waste tomorrow. We have been eating on the go and it shows. Back to normal eating.0 -
