Mornin' BBB
What did I miss? Long weekend with my club putting on the trial, getting up early and pooped by the end of the day.
So this happened yesterday, Lucy and her dad Keller placed in the Amateur All Age. Happy, happy.

Morning~
#BAL makes me smile! Congrats, Gal!
Up early to come to new diggs to work from here today. Another full day of contractor appointments: TVs hung/installed; Wine Fridge delivery; garage floor coatings; etc. Lots done at house over weekend but OH so much more to do.
Downtown all day tomorrow......not looking forward. AND afternoon VA doc appt. Those NEVER go well (or on time).
Of Wed-following Tuesday. That'll be a nice stretch to get some stuff done.
Welcome home to all our travelers. Sun baked from FL and those with coin in their wallets.
Bet #Sassy is glad!
Anticlimactic All-Star race last night. 8p on a Sunday is silly. Oh well.
Cheers!

Good morning.
I was wondering the same thing, Mary. It does seem like it's about time for a new whip to go in the new garage.
Quiet weekend thanks to rain and not wanting to do things. Back to the grind today.0 -
Good morning BBB friends.
Way to go Lucy!
The end is in sight, Skip. You're almost in the new digs.
Sassy was overjoyed to be back with her family and in her own home. She slept almost all day, yesterday. I don't think she slept well at the pet lodge. Too much partying with the other dogs? It was nice, this morning, being awakened by her wet nose and a nice snuggle. Back to routine.
Now that we're home, I need to call our painting contractor and start scheduling all that work.0 -
Good Morning,
Hope all have a GREAT day,

Morning all
Congrats Lee and Lucy.
My sister (the one that was mad until I went to state track) came over yesterday to hang out. She is the one most upset about selling the house. She gets it but is still sad.
Our bike bags are finally at the weight they need to be and we have 4 totes to store at dads new place. Need to do a few more little things and then we are ready to go.
Will spend the rest of the week cleaning out his cabinets and I want to shampoo the carpets if we can. He already has a few feeler offers on the house ( sight unseen for two of them). Nice ranch style houses don’t come ip for sale much around here. They built this house themselves and never had a loan so he stands to make a big profit.0 -
Good morning BBB Friends.
- Up early to have breakfast with the ROMEOs. The County Sheriff sat with us this morning. Good guy, He got started in law enforcement as an Army MP.
- Good pic Lee. Lucy looks happy go lucky. Her Dad, not so much.
- Skip has already bought 2 new whips since he started this house and they haven't seen the inside of the garage yet.

And the fun begins. Neighbor beating on door at 9:30a to let me know the yard is flooding and I've sprung a leak. The sprinkler master valve failed and a 1/2" geyser was spewing water for 2.5 hours! Ugh! TV installers show up. FORGOT one tv entirely. Bar granite installer shows up and has improperly cut the backsplash. Is it miller time yet?

Skip,
In 1969 I spent three months as the night watering guy on a golf course (the days before automatic computerized systems). They were doing some work around one green and damaged a main line without knowing it. I turned on the fairway system and the pressure was very low. Called the greens keeper and he guessed it was a pump problem and for me to get by running fewer irrigation heads. When I was driving up the 7th fairway the headlight of my three-wheel service cart showed a white column the size of a telephone pole, near the green. All the water for the entire golf course was gushing out of a broken main line - and had been for an hour. We had a whole new water hazard more than 100 yards wide. Fortunately, the green was elevated. Also fortunately, the water was pumped out of the Willamette River, so they didn't have to pay for the thousands of gallons wasted.0
