Mornin' gents.

Congrats on the new grad, Mike.
A painful piriformis is quite debilitating. So glad the injections worked, Bill.
Dave, you home yet?
I was MIA for the weekend. Helping put on the trial and running dogs. My young dog did very well yesterday in a very competitive field and tough judging. She was awarded a second place.

Be OP ;-)

Congrats to you on the ribbon, Lee.

The piano move went very well, at least on this end. Got it into the truck and tied down, the couple took it to NH 2 hours away and hopefully the guy and his friends did alright on their end.

Looks like a summery day ahead from the feel of the morning's weather. Two more graduations this week, DS gets a masters from Harvard, and DGS graduates from Holy Cross. Following week another DGS is done with highschool. My head is dizzy... Can't wait to get to my campsite by the lake in the Maine north woods for a week.

    Good morning!

5:00 here in Kansas and I'm third to post. You guys are up early!

    Lee, congratulations on 2nd place!

Mike, congratulations on the two master degrees, and the bachelor's degree, and the HS graduation. Wow! Two children with masters degrees is quite an accomplishment! You should be a very proud father and grandfather.

Dave, I'm glad that you and Rita got home safely from "lost wages" with more money that what you started with!

Bill, I am so happy for you that your shots have helped and that you are walking normally again. I hope that continues for a long while.

I got a lot done yesterday. I did my household chores, and then I also plowed the garden, planted a blueberry bush, and did several other small chores. Then last night, I got my kayak out for the first time in almost a year. The lake was like glass. It felt great to be out in the kayak again. I got over 11,000 steps in yesterday. I also was reminded that it ain't easy getting out of a kayak with an arthritic hip. I fell back into the kayak on the first attempt, but then I got out OK.

Today starts my last week at Parker McCrory. I am so happy about that. I don't know what to expect. I have done ZERO training of anyone on what I do. I'm not worried, that is not on me. I do know that Dan had four interviews last week, so I hope he found a person.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

We picked up Sassy, yesterday and, boy, was she happy. Despite our instructions, they gave her a bath before we picked her up, so we didn't take her on a hike. I needed to get the lawn mowed, anyway. She was overjoyed to get home, then spent most of the day asleep. I don't think she slept well away from us. We're back to normal, now. She woke me up at 5.

Getting back to routine, today. We have some grocery shopping and errands to run. I will try to get Sassy out for a good walk, too.

    Good Morning

Steve, I am glad to hear the kayak finally got wet again. A good sign for sure!

    Lee, congratulations on the ribbon!

Yesterday, we got a small chain saw and cut up the top third of the birch tree that came down in our storms. We were able to get most of it in our green bin. It seemed like we kept finding more of it as we cleared things away. I am not sure the tree will ever recover. Today it is back on task for the kitchen project. I just need to finish packing away stuff we will want to use after the kitchen is operational again, and organize the little bit of dry goods we are keeping out. Today I will start walking again and doing my workouts and keep making progress. It feels good. It has been a long 9 mos of problems.
