Back on the wagon

Hello! I had the VSG procedure done back in 2012, and lost a total of 170 pounds. Over the past few years I've managed to regain roughly 70 pounds (the stress of working in healthcare through CoVid certainly didn't help). I've moved across country, gotten settled into a new job (still in healthcare), and will be moving into my new home in a couple weeks....and it's time to get myself focused on my health again! It's certainly a never-ending struggle, isn't it?!? I'd love to connect with others, for encouragement, and accountability!

    Hi Laura!
I had sleeve surgery in December of 2019. I was 320lbs, then at surgery I was 270lbs and the lowest I got post op was 165 but hovered between 168-173. I went from a 3X to size med/12. I was super happy at that weight. But, I stopped going to the gym and started eating bad again so I’m back up to 216 (last week). I’ve been eating around 1200cals/day this week and need to weigh in tomorrow. Mentally, I feel like I’m 320lbs and feel like everyone sees me as that weight. It’s such a head game and a constant struggle. I hope we can both be successful!!❤️

It's definitely a challenge!! Today was day 6 for me, back to a low-carb/high protein approach. I've also added in some intermittent fasting (day 4 for that). I've recently relocated across country, and don't have my things yet, so I'm without a scale....and I'm determined to not get obsessed with a number on a scale this time. I'm just going to eat right, resist the head noises, and move forward. :)
