Me and #MotherTucker enjoyed the new diggs last night solo. Basement is completely done - upstairs is about 60%. Still don't know where DW packed most of the bathroom stuff. Alas, I had to channel my inner domestic skills and shower this morning with some Dawn Dishsoap. I figure if it's good enough for greasy caked on messes and oil sheen migrant birds - it's okay for me.
Going to attempt some time doing Buddy Poppy's for VFW later this morning. Shall see if I can shake free.
DW/DMIL join us later today.
Back is not doing well. I need to chill out today/tomorrow.

Good morning BBB friends.
The end is in sight, Skip.
Had fun yesterday, hiking with DS, DDIL and grandkids. They went backpacking and we hiked with them to their camp site, then hiked back to the car. The only rain in the state fell where we hiked, but it was mixed with sun. There were several creeks to ford, lots of ups and downs. Sassy loved it. Here is an image of a very happy dog.

- Yep, that is one happy dog. WTG Sassy.
- Did an ice cream run yesterday on the motorbike. Of course, the road home was not direct.
- Holiday weekend and Lou is at the beach, Mary is at the lake and Steph is home which is quite unusual.
- Speaking of holiday weekend. Memorial Day is intended to remember those who died while serving. "Happy Memorial Day" is probably not appropiate. "Thank you for your service" is probably not appropriate either. If you are talking to a Vet, "I hope you're having a meaningful day" might be a good option.

Good Morning,
Up and out before I was ready this morning, DS needed help in doing a job I had requested; by time I got there another brother helped him. DGS found a cornerstone being discarded, our lodge is going to collect and pave patio with cornerstones as pavers.
DMIL says she wants to move to nursing home, need to get paperwork filed and approved, room will not last long.
Skip, let back rest everything does not have to be done in a day.
Going through town one can tell it is a holiday weekend and folks are heading to lake, image restaurants will be packed tonight. May try heading away from lake tonight.
Hope all enjoy weekend but remember we are able to enjoy because many gave their all.0 -
