Long morning already. Hit the computer at o'dark thirty to begin cleaning out my inbox from last week!
Boxes, boxes, boxes remain our albatross. We made significant progress over the weekend, but have started to slow down. Today's challenge - finding a landscaper. My guy from old neighborhood doesn't want to come out here now. Ugh.
SGM - again, congrats on your 40 year milestone!
Lou - how's your mom?
Sam - is DMIL moving out?
Mary - what say ye? Do you have a ratified contract? Woot!

Good morning.
We got back from Corpus Christi at 130 yesterday afternoon; just in time for me to shower and go to the office for our end of the legislative session party - followed immediately by the Governor declaring a special session. 🙄
Today will be rough given that I haven't sat in front of a computer since Thursday and my work has a way of waiting on me to do it.
Mom is doing a little better, Skip. The "issue" caused by her gout medicine has been resolved for now but she's still pretty confused. My brother is trying to find a day nurse to come in a few hours a day to provide dad with some relief.0 -
Morning BBB
We had several successful meet ups with friends and family in Omaha over the last two days. Yesterday was extremely full...coffee with a former coworker, swimming at our pool then lunch with friends and their 4yo, meet Ron's siblings and the great niece and nephew (that now live with his sister) then drinks with friends. Today we just need to get to the airport for a 5pm flight. Probably a walk around downtown. Omaha has really stepped it up over the last couple of years. Downtown was hopping all weekend.
Hopefully our firsts flight with the bikes goes well. Layover in st. Louis.0 -

It should be a cool, dry, comfortable day, in Tumwater. Running some errands, spending some time in the shop and getting Sassy out for a nice walk - maybe on a forest trail at a nearby state park.0 -
DMIL says she wants to move, so DW is going by and start paperwork this morning; hope no one has put a deposit down on room. Lots of questions hope DMIL knows what she is getting into, she should because she worked a couple of years parttime at one. She insisted she wanted to go eat Mexican last night, ate lettuce and guacamole but drank a whole margarita then had a hard time walking and talking.
