Hard to believe we are in June already! Oi!!!
Tucker and I got to chill out for a bit last night.....DN helped DW with some kitchen arrangement(s). I'm smart enough to stay away from that. Finally found the box with all my bar yeti glasses and cols'ters! The world is once again in alignment.
Ready for the weekend!

I think Skip is deliberately dodging questions about his new Kia Portage, Kelly.
We're sending Cecilia to Brazil in Mid-July for about 4 weeks, so there will be a Summer of Lou again. Also trying to work in a trip to Louisville because she hasn't been there in close to two years of my math is correct.0 -

Sounds like it is starting to be home, Skip.
A carpenter is coming over this morning to take measurements for the repair work on our house. A positive step forward. Surface prep work for painting is scheduled for June 26, so the carpenter will have to do his thing between now and then.
Took Sassy for a nice 5-mile walk in the forest yesterday. I was thrilled to see a piliated woodpecker and a great blue heron. Sassy was more impressed by the dozen or so cottontails we flushed along the way.0 -

DW and DMIL waiting for approvals to come in where DMIL can go to Madison House,
Will be over in Dennis's hood today to pick up prescription.
Beautiful here this week, but we need rain.
Finding things that were packed is almost like Christmas.
Hope repair work goes well, Dave, sounds like a large project.

Morning BBB
We are getting settled into our petsit. We have two kitties. Both are a little skittish but the little one did sleep at my feet last night. We are in an apartment right on the bike trail. Yesterday was getting homeowners to airport, costco run and unpacking. Today probably Kroger and Walgreens (need to restock toiletries after Mexico) and maybe unpack the bikes. Ron has a scratchy throat so we will probably take it easy for a day or two. Lentil soup already simmering away.
Skip with our last clothing purge I currently travel with 20 items of clothing (plus undergarments) and left 3 things behind in a tote. I used to have two walk in closets full. Probably there is a happy medium between the two.0 -

Hosting my dgn dear grand niece and her family tonight for dinner since we missed her 4th bday party last weekend. I have mini unicorn cupcakes for desert. She'll love them I hope.
