    G'Morning~

    Made record time driving to NC after dropping DF at IAD.

    Didn't sleep well. Doubletree is sorta run down and not luxe despite the ocean views!

    Hoping to get out early today to see some family about 30 miles away.

    I enjoyed shooting stuff up when I was on active duty, especially as a young NCO. M-16s, M-1911s, M-9s, M-60s, all great fun. Put thousands of rounds downrange and it didn't cost me a penny. Haven't pulled a trigger since I retired 23 years ago.

    More painting contractor stuff going on, today. They are still working on the prep work. Looks like painting will be moved up two weeks to the week of June 26. I will be very glad to get this behind us.

    I am thinking Smart Car. It's French, and it's definitely different.

    Happy HUMPING!
    A stormy day in Georgia, a couple more rounds coming through later this afternoon and this evening, maybe going into tomorrow morning. Reckon Toad will not get out till Friday.
    Getting ready this morning was interrupted by fraud department calling about charges against a credit card we have not used in several months. How do these folks get my information I do not know. Charge was rejected charge and they are sending me a new card.
    Only problem with catching 19 fish is someone has to clean them, but if someone will give them to me I'll clean them.
    Not much fun shooting when one is having to buy ammino especially with cost now.
    Dennis, hope Boy's State does not have outdoor activities planned today.
    Skip, most folks staying ocean front are not there so much for room because they want to be out on beach.

    Wow. I was so focused on dealing with the contractor that I forgot what day this is. The United States Army is 248 years old, today. Saluting all those who served before me, and those who came after, too.

    It is also Flag Day. All the Citizens and staff placed a flag for someone they want to remember.
