Big Rock Tourney was a weather bust yesterday. High winds/surf left most boats in harbor. Alas, we broke down early. One more shift today and driving back up 95 tonight.
Today is 27th anniversary. Doesn't seem possible.
Got to speak with a bunch of cool vets yesterday, Dennis. One was a retired USMC SGM who, was stationed with and great friends today with one of our family friends from Maine (another retired USMC SGM). Small world.
3 days on coast didn't see the sand at all. #Busy! I need a vacation and some beach therapy! C'mon, weekend!

Good morning.
Yesterday was also National Bourbon Day and I feel I didn't properly celebrate it. There does come a point though where it's so hot that brown liquor becomes unappealing and I think we're there now.
It's 81° out at 6:15AM on the way up to 9,000° today. We'll be running a streak of 100+ for the next 10 days or so.0 -

That Central Texas humidity keeps the overnight temperatures high. I recall going for a run at 4 a.m. and passing the time/temp sign at a bank. It was 84 degrees. My contrast, here in Tumwater at 4:53, it is 45 degrees. My first summer at Fort Hood (now Fort Cavasos) we had 63 days with highs at 100 or higher.
Going to be a pleasant, sunny 72 on Puget Sound today. I'll have the door open while working in the shop.0 -

Uneventful day yesterday. We walked uptown and I got a haircut. Today looks like no rain until afternoon so I think we should do a big bike ride. Maybe drive to a trailhead so we can see something different. Need to get cat food so will need to get the car out anyway. Our homeowners ordered a delivery before they left...still hasn't arrived.

- I don't envy your weather Lou. A long string of 100+ days would be tough. We've been fortunate to be in the upper 80s which is very nice for South Georgia in June.
- Speaking of weather we had a storm last night with a tornado warning so our evening session was cancelled. I got to go to bed early.
- Happy Anniversary Skip. My best to Carrie.
- Our staff here consists of Veterans ranging from 2 year draftees to a retired Lt. General all working together as equals. It's refreshing.
- It's going to take awhile to get used to these new Base / Fort names.

Started day with Emmaus group then eye check required since I've been taking hydroxychloroquin over 8 years can cause vision issues.0 -

Weather is warming up here. Looks like it will be in the 90’s this weekend. Ds1 comes home and I won’t get to see him until Sunday for a little bit before he heads back north. He won’t get home until late Friday night and I have to drive to Ohio Saturday am to go dress shopping with the future bride.0 -

Lee our grandsons will be close in age, mine is due July 19th ish. How long do they have to stay in Germany? Or where are they now?
Saw the baby's nursery today, they are good there and all set up. Just need the baby.
What does Lou drink in 100+ F Temps? A sulshy ice cold margarita would be a good option. If only made with good tequila.
My bff and her soon to be dh are spending Sat to Sun afternoon with us at the lake. Should be in the 80's. We will launch the new to us paddle board. Then meet my dh's kids out for Father's day dinner on way home...
Have a good time dress shopping Kelly. Good she's included you. Some brides don't. Us boy moms are lucky to have nice ddils, that do!

Sadly. No pool. The hoa is denying And we loathe the above ground swim spas that are allowable.
This is a temporary home. 5 years to NC is the goal. With a pool.1
