LOL, Steve. Just saw your post about pest control. Do the critters die underground or does the carbon monoxide run them out into fresh air for extermination?
Day off, but heading into work anyway to support an overworked staff and catch up on medical records and client communication.
Need me a haircut, but not today.
So my testosterone is fine. PSA is fine. Looks like my psoriatic arthritis is my whole problem with fatigue. Urologist basically said "suck it up, buttercup", you are just an old man now.
Be OP ;-)

Good morning!
I have gassed about half of the vole holes now. We plug up the holes with dirt. I have not seen any new activity. I would plug all of the holes but Connie wants me to continue just to be extra extra sure. This process won't work with a vehicle with a catalytic converter. It has to be an older vehicle like my '71 Chevy truck.
Today will be about gassing voles and other chores around the manse. I'm hoping to get some down time tomorrow on Father's Day.
I noted Sam's comments about headed to the mountains. I'm about the only one in the group without any mountains nearby. We have the Ozarks but that is hours away and not really the same. I love being in the mountains.
Have a great day!0 -
Good morning gentlemen.
Bring your truck out here to deal with our mole issue, Steve.
This is the night our church congregation chose to attend a ball game - at the Tacoma Rainiers, the Mariners' AAA affiliate. It is unseasonably cool, so we'll be bundling up, I think. We're carpooling with DS and family. Minor league ball games are a lot of fun.

Had planned on motorcycle club coming over tonight, canceled due to lack of participation; ham already thawed so smoked last night pulled about 4 this morning now in over at 225, should be ready to pull about 5 this afternoon. DS and family will come over tonight.
Lee, try taking a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar with orange juice in morning and 1/2 tsp of baking soda at night with water, should be a little better in about a week; can up soda to a full tsp after a week.
Good ride yesterday, about 260 miles. I have to ride an hour to get to foothills of Appalachian.
Not planning on going to any activities around here for Juneteenth, many claiming to be descendants of slaves where some have not even been in country two generations; plus at end of civil war there were less than 900,000 slaves out of 14,000,000 Africans and many slaves were owned by black plantation owners. Grandparents and great grandparents were sharecroppers for black family going back to 1840's0 -
Good Morning
We have small mountains around here, but in 2-3 hours you can be in the Sierra's which is what we used to do. We will do it once more before we leave. I found out our countertop is pushed back another week beyond the last estimate, so 2 more weeks. I was more than displeased, but it is out of my control. We got good news on what the final selling price was for the similar unit that just sold, it went well over asking, close to 100K over what we originally were hoping for. I chatted with the realtor a bit so I can get quotes on the flooring and painting. In the meantime we just keep on trying to make progress. Thankfully my back is responding to some changes in my approach to stretching and exercise. I am now off Meloxicam for my biopsy so that could make life "fun" for the coming week, but we need to keep going.0 -
Yeah the rain showers are a comin' and we do need them. Should be a somewhat soggy Father's Day tomorrow. My daughter and familyh are taking me out for an early dinner at a nice restaurant (Italian-ish)
Got in nice bike ride this a.m.
Thur morning I couldn't get solar powered skylight to close with the remote. Silly me I had been ignoring the week battery AND when I changed the batteries it wouldn't pair with the Skylight. sheesh!! They Velux skylight pros came out and had to raise the whole skylight and housing a bit from atop a second story steep roof and prop it up with a 2x4 in order to do the recessed reset buttons. They warned us it would be expensive because of our emergency timing. I didn't care as rain was coming etc and just needed it done.
i think they said $269 up front plus something like $125 per hour. I figured may 400-500 max but done right. Even with a bit of fussing it took less than an hour so they only charged $269 total for two guys to do the job. Gosh we both felt a bargain considering how much folks want to charge for everything these days nd they did it right!!!!
Will change that remote battery on time next time.
Nice work with the voles.
Our cats, owls, and coyotes keep the moles gophers and voles in check.
Yup as Dave says minor league games are fun. We have the Hillsboro Hops which are fun nearby.
I have been lucky to live almost my entire life within easy reach of both mountains and oceans. More fun for me than wandering around the flat Platte River in the midwest.
Good luck with your back Bill!!!!
