    Such a beautiful day here. I wanna play hookey, but I am now an even bigger cog in the work machine now that DW has retired. Love my job, but it gets a bit worky this time of year. Still haven't gotten boat in the water yet, and the salt water fishing has been hot, hot, hot, by all reports.

    Morning BBB friends

    Big ride yesterday...ended up almost 73 miles. Took all day as we made lots of 5 minute stops and lunch/snack stops. I feel better than expected and since it's sunny this morning I bet we do small ride today. We need more balsamic vinegar for our salads so at least will head uptown to get a bottle when the shop opens at 11.

    Is retirement in your immediate future Lee? You would have way more time for fishing, Gardendale fog shows. :)

    Auto correct can do some strange things.

    Cool and damp, today. I'll be in the shop this morning, have an appointment with the cable company this afternoon to straighten out service and billing. We're going to drop our land line telephone service. We'll just use our cell phones. Does this mean we lose our Boomer status?

    Fine mist this morning, heavy rain coming later.
    I'm taking DGS for a haircut, DW will take DMIL and her stuff to Madison House. I did get forms made up, DW took to Notary so I reckon we can drop her off.

    • I enjoyed starting my day with my Emmaus Reunion Group.
    • That is a heck of a human powered bike ride Steph. I think the longest I ever did was 50+ and that was many, many years ago.
    • I imagine this is a bitter-sweet day Sam.
    • I gave up my almost free VOIP land-line a few years ago. The only calls I ever got on it were junk. Times change.
    • It's going to be a rainy week in Georgia.

    Busy work day after sitting in dentist chair for cleaning at 7am. First customer. All checked out good.

    Beautiful summer weather here all week. The haze from Canada fires is finally gone today.

    Title company officially reached out. We have a July 6 closing date on Lake lot next door.

    Lee, retirement must be close Though? Or not so much?

    It'll be big adjustment for dmil and you and dw, Sam. Hopefully things will be good all around.
