    GM~

    Lou....how's ye, Mum?

Sam - how did the transition to Madison House go with DMIL?

    C'mon, weekend!

Made plans for FL (Marco Island) for mid/late August for quick vacay w/ DW! I feel like we've earned some beach and resort time. DBIL coming to sit w/ DMIL and between him and my friend, #MotherTucker.

He had to go to Critter Fixer yesterday. Some oily knot on his head the vet said not to worry about. Weight is perfect...44.5#. Healthy, shiny coat.

Cheers for a great BBB day!

    Good morning.

You're aware that it's hot in Florida in August, right? And they're prone to hurricanes around then? You did read the brochure, didn't you?

There's no real change with mom. Medical consensus seems to be that there's nothing going on in her head other than maintaining basic body function. On Monday, the Hospice rep and a chaplain both came by to talk to dad which is a pretty good idea of where the medical staff thinks things are. They counseled for pulling food and hydration. Dad talked to the synagogue's Rabbi who told him that removal goes against Jewish law. So, I don't know what's in store.

Off to the dentist in a bit.

    HAPPY HUMPING
First day of summer, though it sounds as Lou could be cooking outside without a fire or stove.
I agree with Jewish Law, with holding fluids and nourishment is cruel and unusual punishment.
DMIL said she had been packing for two weeks, ready to go she had one small suitcase. Then when in room starting holler, she did not have this and that. Took DW's SUV packed and there is still things she is going to need.
Off to yoga, another wet day in Georgia

    Morning BBB

Lou I'm sorry. Sounds like a difficult few weeks ahead.

It's going to be a beautiful day. High 70' to low 80's and mostly cloudy. Should be a great day for a bike ride.

I think we should load the bikes and drive to a different trail today. I found one that is a out and back with a loop halfway with a few breweries along the route. It can be 45-60 miles depending on where we park.

    Good morning BBB friends.

I'm so sorry about your mother, Lou.

Going to be pretty here, too - 74 and sunny. Must mow the lawn.

Appointment at cable company was about as expected. Our bill is up a bit. but lower than we were paying last year, and we are getting better service. For all that, they leave you with the vague impression that they are cheating you in some way. Now I need to deal with our insurance company. Rita's 25-year term policy is expiring. That's OK, we no longer need that protection. But the company sent a note that the policy has been renewed, for a sizable increase in monthly cost. If it's not one thing, it's another.

    Enjoy your day.

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • Lou, trust me. Growing up as a Floridian they don't put those things in the brochure.
    • Blessings for your Mom and your Dad.
    • A good bike trip with breweries on the route. Sounds perfect. Well, for some.
    • I am getting quotes to replace the heat pump. It's not going to stop leaking freon and I'd rather replace it before it quits on a 100° day.
    • I'm waving to the ladies in WI, MI and IN. Oh yeah, OH too.

Good morning Happy first day of summer. Going to continue to be beautiful here. I should be at the lake!

Continued prayers for Lou, Mom, Dad and family. Hard times for sure.

Hope Sams dmil settles in nicely and adjusts to her new place.

Bet Dennis is happy to be back in his own bed!

Had a 30min conversation with my ds1 last night. He is doing great! Been catching some Nats games up the street from his DC apt and is heading to Vegas for a Bach party for college friend later this month. I'm amazed how this generation goes big and has destination pre wedding gigs. In my day pre wedding party's were all kept local. He'll also come here to meet his new baby nephew sometime towards late July yay!

No lake for us this weekend, as we are babysitting for bsby Lauren on Sat for her great grandmothers memorial service.

    Have a blessed day BBB.
