Good morning!

Busy day on tap for today, but fun. I could not be happier at work.

I need to weed and water our tomatoes, but I also have a lot on tap for this evening. I have a counseling session, and I need to go to the grocery to buy meat. We get our main food at Walmart but do not like their meat selections so much, so we get that at a grocer who also has an onsite butcher.

I am very slowly losing weight. I wish I could speed up that process. I am making some better choices, but I could also improve my choices and portion control even more.

Bill, I hope you get your meloxicam back soon!

Dropping off DS for medical tests, then piano class, then starting pile of laundry and sorting remaining camping gear back into storage.

Steve, your vole project sounds like it was a gas... (hehe). Hope you didn't end up harming any neighbor pets. Seriously, would be interested in hearing if it worked or if voles come back eventually. Good news there about the new job. Things looking up for you finally.

Bob, shingles is a rough ride for some. Hope you're okay there. And hearing clears up. What antiviral did they use?

Dave, egad; your house painting project is turning sour fast... I hope they get things dried out and you get your house painted and done without further ado.

Lee, your Maine picture had clear blue sky--I didn't see any of that further north where I was.

Held my own pretty good at Bible study yesterday. Had 1/2 cup coffee and no sweets till I was leaving, when I took one small brownie and left. I figured that way I would at least not be going back, over and over, to "get just one more".

Good morning gentlemen.

Looks like a nice day, today. I need to get the lawn mowed, then I am baking a bunch of enchiladas, some for supper and some for the freezer. Somewhere along the line, I'll do something in the shop. I have turned a half dozen large bowls in the last 10 days and it hasn't seemed to have reduced the pile of wood at all.

DS wants to come over after work tomorrow and get me out for a bike ride. He and DDIL are determined to keep us active.

We are having perfect weather. Maybe a sweatshirt in the early morning or in the evening but comfortable as it gets. It used to be like this more than we get now. They have moved my arrival time to the surgicenter up to a full two hours beforehand. All so I can sit around and my DS has even more wasted time. Gripe Gripe Gripe Gripe. Off to PT this afternoon. I will stretch an a few minutes so we can work on strength and range of motion more. Arthritis pain has lessened vs yesterday which was not a good day.
