Lou - hope you get some clarity on treatments etc for DM! We don't have children so I am unsure entirely if my nieces will exercise good judgment or simply adopt the archaic practice of Eskimos and put me to sale on an iceberg in the chilly Atlantic somewhere! 😂

I feel like I got a victory w/ VA yesterday! After 3 years of tussle, received increase percentage from the VA! Now to keep going with the orthopedic (back) claim.......

Good morning.
Skip - if there's anything I've learned it's the importance of having a detailed living will, people who understand it, and having it tattooed on your chest.
They're thinking we might not break 100 here in Austin today after the rain yesterday. Of course the AC system died last night when it was still 100+ outside. We went with windows and fans and I was so tired I still managed to sleep.

Going to Arizona next month is going to be a shock. It's been surprisingly pleasant in Ohio...looks like triple digits every day already in Mesa. We will have to get up early and take it slow on getting in hikes. Thankfully we will have a 3 hour time change so I'll be used to getting up at 5 am.
Tonight we are ubering to a board game bar. They are teaching 3 games and having Mead tasting. Should be fun.
We didn't go for a bike ride yesterday...just a walk uptown to buy vinegar for salad dressing. Both cats were acting strange. One didn't eat breakfast( super unusual for her) and one didn't poop. Both seem fine by afternoon and now. I think they were mad we were out so long on Monday.0 -

- Probably good you got the opportunity to test the heater Skip.
- One of the advantages of having a small home is we get by with a simple, one zone heat pump. I got 3 quotes to replace it. The highest was almost 50% more than the cheapest. Shows the importance of multiple quotes.

We get youngest DGS tonight for weekend.

The couple with the 6 kids came for dinner last night. It was so nice that we sat outside. Then, Henry and Ruby dart to the fence why you might ask? Because a skunk was on the other side. Ruby actually listened to me and came back. First miracle. Second miracle was that Henry didn’t bark and didn’t get sprayed. The neighbor has a trap set.
Tonight is craft beer and pizza and a taproom. Will be fun.

Home from dog training. Made a housr call on the way home. My barber's wife found a stray cat. Did a feeding for my tomatoes. Now resting before making dinner.

What I do are spaniel trials and hunt tests, Steph. Dog shows are for conformation and temperament, google best in show. You wouldn't catch me dead at a dog show. But you are 100% correct, it could take up ALL of my time if I hung up my scapel.
And I have a DGS about to arrive.
