Good morning gentlemen.
Seeing my primary care manager this morning, to talk about my hip pain. As is typical, the hip feels fine, today. I know the pain will return when I walk or hike any distance, though. Since physical therapy didn't do any good, I want to know if there is any other non-surgical action that can make it better. Maybe I just have to grit my teeth and life with the discomfort.
Going to be a sunny 80 degrees today. My DS is coming over after work to get me out for a bike ride. We'll see how that goes.0 -
In answer to Mike I used Valacyclovir antiviral to shorten the course. I took it early enough that it helped a lot. Likely get shot maybe next week or so with shingrix as it has cleared up nicely.
Yup Dave it is like taking your car in to check out a noise and then the car doesn't want to make the noise. I don't know much about hips to know what might help.
Yup probably mid 80s in pdx maybe upper 80s.
I got dear wife out for a bike ride yesterday as her PT guy had suggested. She is stopping the pt stuff for now.
Tomatoes are doing well for me and hope to have some larger ones by mid July. Enjoying my Sun Sugar cherry tomatoes now though.0 -
Good Morning
The marine layer from SF decided to pay a visit this morning but is finally moving out, but we will be cloudy and cool at 70 today. Pretty soon we will wish we had some cloud cover. PT session went well I have regained the knee flexion I had lost but not quite where I need to be. I seem to have managed to find a way to regularly do the stretching and flexing without ruining my back. Taking today to slowly work through some of the house cleaning and organizing stuff that is laying around. Ah....retirement life.0 -
I still need a shingles shot; was scheduled and then the pandemic started...
Piano class was one botched piece of music after another--didn't have time to practice being in the woods with no piano.
Gorgeous cool sunny day here. Rain coming though next 5 days.
Yet more laundry to do, and bills again.0 -
